No, no, no, we've been assured you can't blame the democrats. You know, the kings of systemic racism.Poot said:

I would like for the two liberal pearl-clutchers here to explain why my rural county where guns outnumber people by at least 3:1 never has a murder. Almost everyone has a firearm within reach either on their person or in their vehicle, yet miraculously no murders.
Neither are apparently very smart so I'll provide a statistic as a clue - the population is 99.9% white and Hispanic.

The answer to gun violence is to allow the innocent civilians to protect themselves.
So all those kids at Uvalde should have been strapped?

So has any anti-gun liberal ever said what "common-sense gun control" looks like, how it would be put in place? And specifically, how it would prevent shootings? Even if all gun sales were stopped, legal and illegal, they are not going to confiscate the hundreds of millions of guns already out there. If the bad guys can't buy them, they will steal them or use the ones they already have. I guess we could make gun theft against the law.

I'm fighting against the status quo. I'm fighting against the laws that have made it so easy for people to harm their fellow man. I'm fighting for what Jesus actually taught.
I distinctly remember Jesus telling his disciples to scrounge enough money together to buy a sword. He also says that those who live by the sword will die by it. So, I by no means believe he called people to violence. However, to think that Jesus would find it inherently sinful to own firearms for self defense - is a stretch.

Oh I am. By using our existing federal gun laws to put these 6%ers behind bars instead of releasing them on PR bonds or letting them plead away the gun charges when they get caught. We have all the laws we need to dramatically reduce crime, we just need to enforce them with appropriate punishments.Pylon Cam said:

which situation will likely lead to more deaths?
100 guns in a city of 1 million people, or 100,000 guns in a city of 1 million people?
dont even answer with a post. just digest this and answer it honestly to yourself. it's undeniable that the proliferation of guns (among other causes such as rampant poverty and broken homes) has led to the situation we are in right now.
like I said, I'm a gun owner and have never advocated for confiscation, but i'm also not going to be willfully blind and act like there's not a problem.

None of my guns have ever jumped out of the safe, loaded themselves and shot anyone. How about yours?
False. Most guns used in mass shootings may have been bought legally by the original owners, but to imply the shooters were the one's who bought them is a lie, even if you label it as a "fact."Pylon Cam said:Most guns used in mass shootings were bought legally. I think you must be a troll. It's just hard to believe anyone can live in such an irrational, emoting fantasy.
Sure, criminals will break laws, but they won't be able to go on a shooting rampage if they are unable to gain possession of a firearm.
