So, I've been wondering. How did Trump know to look at USAID first? Somebody brought it up. Somebody working for Trump in intimately plugged in to DC.

He learned a lot the first time around.

I think many around him saw the unprecedented lawfare, the attempts to destroy him, the assassination attempts, and they said hey this is where the purse strings are. We need to do this first when you get back to Washington Mr. President.

He's going after it in a way he would not have had he been allowed to win in 2020.
Trump will fix it.

Read the link. It's not as bad as the dramatic headlines but if you go to the post and read it, it still has the potential to be a massive amount of grift at many levels.

How much "kick back" money came back to some of the USAID supervisors?

Gotta believe Pam Bondi will take over that part of this operation.

Step 1) Politician meets NGO or High NW individual (HNWI) that runs XYZ Group that spews liberal non-sense around the world.
Step 2) NGO or HNWI tells them XYZ Group does "philanthropic foreign aid projects" and how they could use some additional funding which would expand their reach. And if successful, they will openly "support" the politician and/or their party.
Step 3) Politician packs in funding for XYZ Group in USAid budget and lets HNWI individual know that it is included
Step 4) HNWI individual receives large taxpayer funded cash infusion
Step 5) HNWI individual or NGO senior folks immediately open up ActBlue and donate large sums of money straight back to the corrupt politician, all paid for by the US taxpayer.

Next up should be ActBlue and a full forensic audit and paper trail for money leaving USAid, heading to HNWI/NGO's, heading to ActBlue, heading back to original politician who included the funding into USAid.

As JFK Jr said to Bernie, you are the largest recipient of $ from Big Pharma. Bernie retorted, "That was from individuals, not from companies… Individuals." Sure Bernie, just like how Granny Staples who probably lives on SS and a dwindling pension account makes 1,600 donations of ActBlue for $13,000.

Dems, your goose is cooked. Pam, land the plane and put these Congressional criminals in Gitmo…. Or Gaza (would be extremely amusing watching them get shipped off to Gaza and how much they would be screaming about how inhumane it would be to be subject to life in Gaza under Hamas rule).

Also the Republican version RedWin? should be investigated. Although it is exponentially smaller.

I hope the new Attorney General has a hotline for USAID workers who want to turn states' evidence and avoid prosecution or get a decent plea deal.

I wonder how many of the dems are sitting back and thinking how simple life could have been if they had just let Trump win legitimately in 2020 instead of stealing the election. He would have spent 4 more years marginalized and surrounded by uniparty squishes like Pence and Barr and then the democrats could have run Gavin against Pence and run away with turning the US into California.

Instead, we got 4 years of leftists running amok under a puppet government. We now have an energized Trump backed by the smartest and richest guy in the world appointing people to key positions that will take no **** from anybody and a populace that is sick and tired of all the goofy crap the dems have been spending our money on for 4 years. These people are systematically dismantling the deep state tools used to control the narrative and disrupt free elections here and elsewhere, and they are barely 2 weeks into his term.

They have to look forward to nearly 4 more years of this, and who is their bench? Newsome has been destroyed as a viable candidate and there is nobody behind him on the dem side. The Rs have Vance, DeSantis, and a half dozen other viable and energetic candidates to run in 2028.

" President Donald Trump has frozen billions of dollars around the world in aid projects, including over $268 million allocated by Congress to support independent media and the free flow of information. Reporters Without Borders (RSF) denounces this decision, which has plunged NGOs, media outlets, and journalists doing vital work into chaotic uncertainty. There are 570,000 Aggie alumni and most are not current athletes. I'd say the vast majority of folks in that number are decent and would say they follow the honor code. None of us is perfect so we will sometimes fail, but there is no reason to crap on the ideal of it just because a few Aggie's work for USAID or treat sports as the business it is.

It actually could be worse than that. Politico is, for all intents and purposes dead man walking. So is MSDNC. The NYT could easily be next. The various network news departments and CNN don't have consistent revenue sources any more and are, at best, marginalized with their message. No message means no support and many fewer useful idiots out there screaming, for whatever that was worth.

With no more USAID funds, there's no way to pay the agitators/organizers and even protestors. Even if many protestors were out there on their own, the bail money is no more so at least a few will think twice (to the extent they can think once). There's NO WAY the Floyd riots in the very early days weren't planned and organized ahead of time -- they were just waiting for ANY incident to have an issue to riot on -- but again, it took some organization and money. There's no money any more for that. At the very least, there's little to no media and/or government backing.

Some people may say this is all wishful thinking, and I guess there's a small chance it could be, but think about it: how does the left get the money they get? Small donations? You think the people out rioting are giving money? You think the rich in Hollywood and elsewhere are giving? Hell no -- they're getting paid to take pics with Zalenski for PR purposes. These folks are the BENEFACTORS of all this, not the supporters.

We've uncovered their gold mine and that's why Shumer is screaming. He doesn't give a damn about foreign aid. He's worried about laundered money going into his campaign funds and the possibility of a serious challenger next go-around.

They can just not spend them prior to the end of the fiscal year and they go back into the treasury. When they do the usual CR adding 6-10% to last years spending, USAID will get 6-10% on top of what they spent, not what they were allocated previously.

This would work, but would hurt Rs in the long wrong.
