Elon better watch out. Turns out we've funded the Clinton's to a tune of 84 billion and now doge has exposed it.

I've gone fron excited about all this to depressed. There's no way we can fix it. Govt will slowly but surely rebuild this ridiculous system. Maybe our republican congressmen could pass some laws fortifying us against this chicanery, but it would appear many if not most of them are on the take as well.

The GAO is sort of the minnow in the sea compared to the killer whale apex predator that the CIA/USAID have long been. No one at the GAO wanted to risk their lives/career over such an audit.

I'm not even sure it fell under such responsibility anyway, but keep in mind absolutely nothing in their $50 billion a year budget was actually for doing what it was labeled. Heck, just look at their Wikipedia page for a description of the various missions/parts/sub-structures. It's as complex as anything I've ever seen.

This is a very good question. There should be accountability. Also is there any illegal aspect of how USAID was temp shuttered?

You wanna see the push several states needed for an Article V convention. Maybe this is it.

Maybe ignorance is bliss and some would have been better off with the hands over their eyes or fingers in their ears but for the sake of future generations...this is very hopeful.

Well, because USAID was shut down, the judge that one of their NGOs were paying didn't get paid most likely. Turns out people aren't as progressive if they aren't paid to be.

I hear you.

I don't think such a thing would solve anything. It's almost to the point where the federal govt needs an entire reset. Remove every federal agency from existence and then force a very divide congress to bring back agencies, and not through reconciliation, one at a time.

How can the average American keep up with the amount of corruption that is being uncovered?

I'm discovering different stories, mostly via X, here on TAs and politics on the rant by clicking on numerous threads and scrolling through multiple pages.

I would like to believe there are some people who aren't liberal kooks fighting against reality who may just change their stance due to the overwhelming amount of information, and just wondering how all of these various reports are being disseminated?

I'm not too surprised about Notre Dame, big research school and that also is a period of performance over multiple years I think. The scale of this stuff is mind boggling though.

This is just the Office of Acquisition and Assistance, which I drilled up to from Notre Dame. Again, this is all auto-pilot stuff from the CIA basically, independent of any review from congress/the President.
