This is their usual song to keep spending. Everything matters, big or small. When I was in school, I had a lesson called "little drops of water make a mighty ocean". There is a lot of meaning to this.

Keep paying down the debt and show Americans and the world that we are not drunken sailors.

I paid down all my debt in 2018 and I don't foresee taking out any more unless I buy a house in the Bay Area. I recommend others do so too. The freedom is exhilarating.

Speaker Johnson was on Fox this morning, and this was being discussed as part of a larger conversation. I think I heard him say that what was left of USAID would get rolled into State.

But moreso, he said this is just part of a larger plan. They want the 2017 tax cuts codified and they've got to find the savings. Finding and eliminating waste like this is part of that and integral to the larger plan.

Again, the name of the agency itself is deceptive; there is no 'aid' in the US Agency for International Development.

It is about control, subservience, and power. If anything, its elimination is akin to a decolonization initiative. USAID, and the CIA writ large, are why so many people across the globe wind up hating Americans.
