I put this on the larger megathread but it's a pretty damn big deal. They won't go quietly, to be sure. These are folks who are used to causing revolutions, not being overthrown themselves.

It's an excellent book. Notably, we are presently funding the Taliban to produce heroin.

The theory has long been that the CIA uses dark accounts funded by the drug trade for its own purposes (and embezzlement) off the books.

Read the book the Creature from Jekyl Island. It talks in depth about how financiers and governments have funded both sides of conflicts for centuries for profit and desired outcomes.
