There should be digital forensic with every signature. When I e-sign documents there is digital info that authenticates my signature. Otherwise my sig is not formally accepted.

I don't agree these are the perfect cases, as there is no requirement a pardon be "signed" in the Constitution. In theory, Biden could have jumped on stage right before Trump was sworn in and shout to the camera "I pardon Sean Combs" and that would be sufficient!FrioAg 00 said:

Let me back up a bit here. So that void ab initio idea might be useful as they apply to Biden's judicial appointments. Irrespective of Senate confirmation, if the nominations were not properly made, that's also an appointments clause issue.
