Our 545 elected souls, of which 20% are likely bribed and blackmailed, know that when we hit $60 tr
illion, or so, it's 50% to 150% inflation every single year in order to pay the debt we can't pay.
These same souls only have control over 15% of our budget. Everything else is on auto pilot.
I'm sorry to say, but IF they really want to get things under control, they're going to have to revise, rewrite, or do something with Medicaid/Medicare, Obamacare, and the VA medical services. In 2024, those three were over $2 trillion dollars of our budget. Throw in defense spending of $1 trillion and another $1 trillion in interest payments, and you're at $4 trillion.
So if you want to make a difference, those three medical issues and defense are the MAIN issues. Good luck with that. It would require genuinely good men and women to get it done. Out of our 545 on the hill, maybe 40 are good humans. That ain't enough. If any of those 545 have children, they're selling their children to certain poverty.
