This is what I don't get.

We are continually presented with a concept that a document has Biden's "signature", and that in and of itself is proof that the document is legitimate.

No discussion of logs, audio or visual documentation of Biden having a discussion about specific pardons or legislation, or authorizing the use of the autopen for said pardon or legislation. If autopen is used, there MUST be some additional documentation to insure that it was not fraudulently used.

It's not good enough for a President to have "handlers" and simply say that "whatever they did, I authorized". If the President is not personally involved, it didn't happen. And waving a document around signed by autopen is not good enough.

The only way to have addressed that is the 25th.

You could not, cannot go back and relitigate his mental capacity at this point.

If the operators of the autopen failed to follow procedure and / or commit fraud, they can be held accountable.

But old Joe is off the hook. The Hur report was the final word on Joe being accountable.

That has been my problem with the whole thing. At the point where we had an official investigation to conclude that he was too old and/or senile and/or dementia-ridden to be held accountable for criminal actions, then it should have automatically invoked the 25th amendment. If he can't be held responsible for his actions due to mental infirmity, then he should not have been allowed to make decisions on behalf of the American people.

We know. We knew in 2020.

Failure to invoke the 25th means from a constitutional/legal perspective we act as if Biden were competent to be president.

What's left is the question as to what he signed (whether directly or through a verifiably authorized autopen) and what signatures should be tossed as improper/unauthorized forgeries.

I wish it were t so but I think things like the 5th, Exec Privilege, and the desire to move on will mean chasing convictions is a fools errand.
