With all due respect Mr. Thermos. YOU don't know what she "thought". You don't know her deep rooted intentions. But any terrorist or sympathizer has zero intention of using free speech for a positive Pro-American purpose.
She gets a one way ticket home.

She wasn't an "illegal alien" she was a Fulbright scholar studying childhood development, who thought she had come to a country where a vigorous exchange of ideas could take place. She was made "illegal" without notice and practically black bag renditioned because of her writing. No doubt she took part in protests too, but so do a zillion other students for a zillion other causes. It was obviously the anti-Israel nature of her opinions that got her singled out and made an example of when she openly and zealously advocated for those opinions. Opinions are permissible only so long as they don't offend the regime.

If she is a foreigner and a student in the US and takes part in activism, then off she goes.
We are under no obligation to let her study here. She can fight in her home country (she knows they will stone her if she dares to)

Unfortunately not shocking at all that some of you don't see how this can be further abused and misused by the democrats if they ever manage to stumble their way back into power. "But but but they did it to me first" is not the correct answer in these situations.

Apples to oranges. They revoked her privilege to be here. She is a non citizen and removed her.

You cannot remove citizens from the US.

And you actually think Hamas is not a terrorist organization? And that the NRA is one? One of these is demonstrably not like the other.

Try harder.
According to the OP she was arrested for her op-ed, which had nothing to do with Hamas and everything to do with a useless student senate at a diploma mill university doing things that student senates do.

You don't get to spend four years whining and crying about the lack of due process for January 6 victims and then turn around and encourage the same behavior against people you disagree with.

She is a non-immigrant. She can be removed. The end.

Edit: I'll give an example. When I was ICE is Dallas, a non immigrant from Holland slept with a married man she should not have and the wife complained to her Senator. Bing bang boom, it ended up on my desk, and I arrested her the next day at the Las Colinas Equestrian Center where she was riding and she was on the plane back to Holland the following week.

Tom, you work with ICE?

So being a Fulbright scholar is a green light to be an ******* as a guest here? What kind of logic is this? maybe she should stay in Turkey and get educated there.

The OP cites the WaPo, which has been known to exaggerate, propagandize, editorialize and be highly selective in the "facts" that they report. And yet you are willing to accept these "facts" as gospel.

There is a reason many appeal to the 48 hour rule, especially when discussing articles from biased sources with a clear agenda.

If the facts remain after a suitable period that this grad student did nothing more than post opinions supporting a terrorist organization, then revoking her visa remains entirely correct but hauling her off in handcuffs may have been excessive though lawful. If facts yet to be disclosed reveal that she might have been a danger to anyone, or that her actions were more than just exercising her free speech, then the "masked agents" and handcuffs were justified. But I'll bet the WaPo is not going to be the one to expose those aggravating factors, will it?

Over 14,000 political dissenters were thrown in prison without habeas corpus and over 300 Northern newspapers were shut down by Honest Abe. Oh, and he started a war that killed over 900,000 Americans. Nothing Constitutional or lawful, but he has some cool quotes.

The way Muslims operate is they go to Kafir (non Muslim) countries and make pests of themselves. Protest abotu Gaza, Pray on the streets, prayers on loudspeaker etc. Kafir people put up with it because they are by nature civilized and tolerant. Until it gets to be too much. That is when the Muslim person gets arrested and kicked out or jailed. The next step is that Muslims dog-whistle and try to get other Muslims and leftist orgs to raise a ruckus. That is a downside with democracies is that you will find someone who wants to partner with Muslim extremist groups for electoral benefit. Dems in US, Congress Party in India, Liberal Party in UK and Canada. They are all the same and Muslims know this. They then paint the host Government as "fascist" and try to escalate.

This has happened over and over again.

Naturalized citizens will be the next phase of this. These same arguments can be applied to any naturalized citizen. We gave them citizenship based on them taking certain oaths. Protesting America's allies can be deemed a violation of those oaths. And off you go.

Maybe we should be having a debate about the true definition of citizenship and what one must do to retain it. Why should our country grant citizenship to anyone who is not loyal to it?
