You have freedom to speak.
The government can revoke your VISA. If you are on a Visa, choose what you do wisely.

Yep. Pretty logical.
Dude, I had a Mustang and for 7 years didn't speed in it. Do you know how hard that is?

I'm against police cars with the ghost graphics trying to hide out in ditches to catch speeders too. (they should also have to obey all traffic laws unless they have lights and sirens on too, but that's a different thread) When you agree to join the military/police/LEO of any kind, you are aware of the risks. Retribution has been a risk forever.

On the surface level, this was a college student with a legal visa whose only alleged crime was having opinions, and she was engaged in perfectly lawful activity of going to a place of worship when assaulted by men in hoodies and masks who claimed to be police officers.

That is wild. If I were her I would have been fighting for my life, assuming I was being kidnapped and I would keep fighting until uniformed officers showed up or I was incapacitated. Why would I believe that some strange men in hoodies and masks were cops?

Yes, I agree the arrest was scary for her. Like a kidnapping
Of course it was. That was the intent.

Why do you think the Government sent 15 vehicles and 25 SWAT team members to arrest a preacher? Most of the free speech warriors in this thread had no problem with it See https://www.nationalreview.com/news/pro-life-activist-arrested-by-fbi-acquitted-on-federal-charges/

Why do you think the J6 protesters were kept in prison without charges? Again, all quiet from the free speech warriors in this thread.

This is how the US government has always intimidated people, regardless of party.

Why do you think they sent a SWAT team to get Elian Gonzalez?

I am close to someone who worked for Enron. They sent several armed FBI agents to his house. It took him a few months to realize that they knew he was innocent. They were intimidating him right from the start, because they didn't want him testifying for Ken Lay.

The list is long. This is nothing new - doesn't make it right. But its not like we've crossed some new barrier here. This shi$ has been going on forever.

Maybe there will be some new 2A small government folks when this is all said and done. More likely, they will chase the new squirrel that Trump releases.

The idea that I could go to theses countries and become a political activist at all is insane.

Even just sharing the gospel is risky enough, but to engage in political activity in favor of the HOST nations declared enemy!!??
Please, I have no right to that and it is clear in the Visa application that I will not engage in political activity or face deportment or imprisonment

Did you go to these places on a missionary visa? Or did you go on a tourist visa or business visa and then cheat and do missionary work?
I never cheated, LOL, if I went on a business visa I DID BUSINESS. And never violated the terms of my visa. Even in the ME the Quran has much to say about ISA, Jesus.

Yet if I had been arrested and deported for speaking the gospel I would be good with it. It never happened, and I was not shy about it either.

Quote:

In the U.S., **non-citizens, including those on visas**, can be **removed (deported)** for supporting terrorist organizations. This includes a range of activitiessome that might seem passive. Here's how it breaks down:

---

### **Legal Grounds for Removal**

Under the **Immigration and Nationality Act (INA)**, a visa holder can be removed if they:

- **Engage in or incite terrorist activity**
- **Provide material support** to a designated foreign terrorist organization (FTO)
- **Associate or be a member** of such an organization
- **Endorse or espouse** terrorist activity in a way that poses a threat to U.S. safety

Even **fundraising, spreading propaganda, or encouraging violence** on behalf of these groups can qualify.

---

### **Material Support** includes things like:
- Donating money or supplies
- Hosting events or providing tech support
- Translating propaganda
- Recruiting or promoting for the group

---

### **Who Decides?**
- DHS (Department of Homeland Security) initiates removal proceedings.
- An immigration judge hears the case.
- The **standard of proof is lower** than in a criminal courtmeaning a person can be removed without being criminally convicted.

---

### **Important Note**
Even **First Amendment arguments** (free speech) have limits here. If someone is not a citizen and their speech is **reasonably connected to inciting violence or providing support to a terrorist group**, they can be removed.

---

If you have a particular kind of activity or group in mind, I can dig into how it would be evaluated legally.

Would make sense that non-immigrant visa holders (I.e. Ozturk) can have their free speech infringed as well.

Her *visa* does not. This is clearly laid out in case law. If you are here on a non-immigrant visa, you are here at the sole discretion of the United States government. If they choose to revoke your visa (they did), you can be removed immediately.

India is secular and there is freedom of religion there (at least legally)
