Anyone surprised by Trump?

Also, he may be starting to have dementia. Frequent doc visits, hand bruising consistent with drug administration, sleeping publicly now. There are signs.

I'm so sick of allowing the left to say and do what they want without repercussions. F that! I'm happy with what my President said. Rough way to go out but I'm not sad about that pos going out at all.

No. He is an embarrassment to the country and I am deeply regretting exclusively and emphatically voting for him every time.

Wow...I don't even have any words.

Rob Reiner was able to set aside politics and condemn Kirk's killing, but our side seems to get more petty as time goes on. Trump should be embarrassed and his handlers should address that.

How ironic is it that Reiner is dead but the Meathead lives as the leader of the free world.

One of the most psychotic things I've seen from Trump (and that says alot). Every single poster here decried any anonymous twitter user or Joe Blow on the street who made light of or relished Charlie Kirk's death but the POTUS is dancing on Reiner's grave and blaming Reiner's political views for his death (the very thing you ALL were condemning the others for regarding the Kirk assassination).

This is not ok.

many people probably don't even know that reiner went on piers morgan after kirk's memorial and vociferously condemned the murder and praised erika kirk for her eulogy and message. all this "reiner was just as bad as trump" coping is hollow.

Its literally trending as a top story related to this.

So Reiner gets a cookie for not following the Kimmel plan after Kirk's assassination? A public political assassination?

By god, let's give Reiner all the posthumous golden cookies of peace because he said he thinks it wrong to assassinate people over the political / religious beliefs.

You are lost. Reiner and his wife were murdered by their own son. It literally had nothing to do with Trump, but because your dear sweet baby leader went out of his way to make it about himself, you not only defend his words but justify them because you see anyone on the left as evil and an enemy. Rob and his wife have 3 other kids and they lost their parents and their brother in a single night and you think this is a political football to use to score points with?

Seek help.

I for one am super shocked that tHe PaRtY oF lIfE is super pumped somebody died because they had differing political views.

Can you quote or reference any celebration or someone being "super pumped somebody died"?

Reiner's passing is not something I am glad or happy about, though I sure as **** am not sad about it.

Quit projecting the jubilee leftists feel when someone like Charlie Kirk is assassinated and confuse it with apathy most on the right will feel with Reiner moving on.

Karma? So he and his wife deserved to die and had it coming?

He was evil and 'should have focused on his home'? So he and his wife deserved to die and had it coming?

If you're truly not 'happy' the 'evil' of Rob Reiner no longer exists, you're certainly doing a bad job of not showing it.

Here's what civility looks like. And I'm no RR fan.

I guess I was raised to never speak ill of the dead, and it's one of those old customs that I'm shocked when someone breaks it.

Of course, my whole family is small town Texas folk all the way back to San Jacinto, so I was raised a little differently than most.,

I agree with that for the most part and I never would've said what Trump said, even if Reiner had said those things about me, but when you think about other people who have maybe been alcoholics, abusive to their children and wives for decades, they don't become a good person just because they die. I've even seen a few obituaries that really tore the person down.

Is it the right thing to do? I don't know because I had a loving family. I couldn't imagine saying things like that, but I also can't put myself in other peoples shoes.

That's tangent to what Trump did, but it is easier just to say silent but if you absolutely can't, I don't see why it's the worst thing to not be complementary of someone who was not a good person. Why did they deserve respect in death that they did not give anyone in life.

But I think for your own well-being it's just better to be the bigger person. Trump was not here, but I can understand the anger.

I guess you missed the other horrible things Rob Reiner said for a decade. He says one nice thing about Charlie Kirk and that forgives everything else he said? Interesting.

Trump shouldn't have said it, hands-down, but I thank God he's our president even when he does crappy things like this. They are just words, but they are gross words. It is a character flaw in him though. However, what he's been able to do in just the last year alone after four years of complete devastation is phenomenal.

Both things can be true.

People in general just need to quit being so emotional and realize we're living in a very hard, ugly world now. Ironically, not as hard as about 100 years ago, but hard in a different way and in this age of social media a lot of stuff is said that shouldn't have been.

I think of the things that people like Omar and Tlaib, Biden and Pelosi have said and it's no better. I wish Trump had been above this.

But to act like the left has not been doing this for a decade is disingenuous. It doesn't deserve Trump doing it back. He should've been thr better person, he shouldn't have said anything, but it's interesting to see people wringing their hands over just one portion of this.

Trump doesn't have dementia, when you get to be older, you get bruises on your hands because of thinning skin and he's the president so he has medical tests. I think he's fine until we hear otherwise. And I find that even amusing given the walking corpse we had in office under Biden.

Trump has always tweeted like this. This was just one of the particularly ugly ones.

Wait, you actually believe Renner and his wife were physically murdered because they have 'Trump Derangement Syndrome'?

Well, Trump said it, so.....

Well, what was Nick arguing with his parents about at Conan's party?

I have no idea. Could have been anything. Could have been about Trump.

At some point it simply does not matter. Trump is getting the exact reaction he wanted.

And none of it bothers me in the least. Its a balance to the glorification of Reiner and the glossing over the hate and lies he spread over the past decade.

What kind of ****ed up moron wants a "reaction" from posting about someone's murder?

You do realize that any picture can be taken when he closes his eyes for a few minutes. It doesn't mean he was sleeping. Trump has probably been the most active president of any in the last 20 years. The man is constantly traveling, constantly awake in the late hours and early hours and constantly working.

So far, I have not seen him shake hands with an invisible person, shuffle off the podium to the wall, call on only certain journalists that have been okayed with a cheat sheet and still not answer any questions, fall off a bike, fall down the stairs at graduation, slur his words almost every time he speaks, get overly angry and eat ice cream all the time.

Reiner has decades of bad things to say all pent up and yet, when it counts, when it's his chance to show the world he is a sane human being.....he is able to nail it. That's what professionalism and character looks like.

As you said, Trump doesn't have either quality and his actions while regrettable, are expected.

Trump should have used this as an opportunity to tell people "If you need to make note of his politics before your condemn his death, you are a f---tard, unamerican, and a bottom dwelling dirtbag".

Instead, Trump tried to make it a sales pitch for something no one is buying.

Why does one need to condemn his death? He was murdered by his son who has a long history of mental illness and drug addictions.

And again, give all the cookies you want to Reiner for his "correct" take on Kirk's assassination. It would have been more admirable had he learned to tone down his rhetoric and lies before Charlie was killed, but maybe he had not yet obtained the enlightenment you have now bestowed upon the Great Rob Reiner.

Well, no one really thinks that Trump is a good human being. Politics aside, Clinton, Bush Jr and Obama are probably better people to hang with and have a beer. Even Biden or Carter.

However, it is a choice we are forced to make from the policy perspective. We cannot allow the country to be sold to foreigners and Trump is the best (only) choice. The other option was Kamala.

Sad but until an alternative emerges, it is Trump, however classless or racist he is or may silently be.

I actually get Trump having this type of sentiment behind closed doors. Imagine if you were so hated by loudmouths like Reiner, Hollywood, the media etc. to the point where it has conditioned people to want to kill you. I won't pretend to know what almost having my head blown off because of people with voices like Rob Reiner spreading irrational hatred and fear is like...but I would imagine that would do a number on many people.

Trump's mistake is saying what he said publically. It is very divisive and potentially damaging for the GOP. If he wanted to go on this type of rant...would have been best to do with buddies on the golf course or some other more private setting.

Well, the left does it all the time. We saw that with Charlie Kirk and Trump's attempted assassination, not to mention the daily names hurled at him. Being called a fascist, racist, Hitler, sexist and on and on gets to everybody I guess.

We need to condemn both sides when they cross the line. Right now, Trump needs to be condemned for this.

Trump has no one to blame but himself for this. It's an ugly spotlight to have.

Yep. They seem to be more upset by words than actions. There are numerous people Trump has paid off mortgages for, paid for medical care over the years, taking care of people both through jobs and financial mean and on and on. People just don't want to hear it. They would rather be outraged by a mean tweet.

But he does bring this on himself.

What has Trump ever done that makes you think he is a racist?

He's a silent racist. He discriminates just by breathing. Sort of like white privilege / systemic racist.

Trump is racist because one thinks he is a racist. He doesn't actually have to do or say anything racist. He simply is.
