I'm just enjoying how this tweet is the greatest Dem victory celebration all year given how many have come out of the woodwork to post on this one thread

Again, I don't think he should've said it but what he said was 100% true. Mean-spirited, inappropriate given the timing, but true.
Wait, you actually believe Renner and his wife were physically murdered because they have 'Trump Derangement Syndrome'?

Actually, I think he is OK with it. He truly believes it, but when the truth goes from the other side, even if ugly, that's when he gets angry.
Hypocrisy is one of the biggest things I see from the left. These people would literally smile with glee to see Trump assassinated. Many on this forum included.
Why is it when people die, even if horrifically, all of their misdeeds, ugly words and behavior are suddenly "not so bad"
Rob Reiner was a decent actor and director and seemingly a normal person. Then he became very vitriolic to the point of disgusting words, literally put himself in a psychiatric care to deal with "Trump being president" obviously having some mental issues to take it that far. Both are true.
However, I do wish Trump would not do some of these things because it takes away from what's really important. I am disappointed in him. Again, both things can be true.
You're should sit this one out.flown-the-coop said:Ervin Burrell said:

Spoutin truth is goaltending. Got it.
Go enjoy your Monday Memorial for Glorious Rob Reiner, Purveyor of Bad Movies, Hateful Rhetoric, and TDS Fueled-Lies.

I love how it took three minutes for you to pivot from "extremely bad Trump" to ferociously defending him at all costs...it's like it makes you physically ill when he receives criticism. Newflash: he doesn't give the slightest sh/t about you or anybody that isn't himself. HTH.

One of the most psychotic things I've seen from Trump (and that says alot). Every single poster here decried any anonymous twitter user or Joe Blow on the street who made light of or relished Charlie Kirk's death but the POTUS is dancing on Reiner's grave and blaming Reiner's political views for his death (the very thing you ALL were condemning the others for regarding the Kirk assassination).
This is not ok.
many people probably don't even know that reiner went on piers morgan after kirk's memorial and vociferously condemned the murder and praised erika kirk for her eulogy and message. all this "reiner was just as bad as trump" coping is hollow.
Its literally trending as a top story related to this.
So Reiner gets a cookie for not following the Kimmel plan after Kirk's assassination? A public political assassination?
By god, let's give Reiner all the posthumous golden cookies of peace because he said he thinks it wrong to assassinate people over the political / religious beliefs.
You are lost. Reiner and his wife were murdered by their own son. It literally had nothing to do with Trump, but because your dear sweet baby leader went out of his way to make it about himself, you not only defend his words but justify them because you see anyone on the left as evil and an enemy. Rob and his wife have 3 other kids and they lost their parents and their brother in a single night and you think this is a political football to use to score points with?
Seek help.
I for one am super shocked that tHe PaRtY oF lIfE is super pumped somebody died because they had differing political views.
Can you quote or reference any celebration or someone being "super pumped somebody died"?
Reiner's passing is not something I am glad or happy about, though I sure as **** am not sad about it.
Quit projecting the jubilee leftists feel when someone like Charlie Kirk is assassinated and confuse it with apathy most on the right will feel with Reiner moving on.

You are gaslighting the absolute hell out of me right now. I can't even begin to respond because there's so much here that someone with any amount of self awareness wouldn't have said. I''ll simply say....Rob Reiner never went to psychiatric care, let alone 'because of Trump'. I don't know where you got that from...

It's crazy to me that TDS has reached both sides of the aisle, just in different ways.
For democrats with TDS, they are obsessed with him, hate him with every fiber of their being.
For republicans with TDS, they are obsessed with him, will defend him with every fiber of their being.
For those on the left, you can hate him, but can admit there are things he's done well. For those on the right, you can love him, but admit some of his downfalls.
Some of yall need to go outside for a bit and get some fresh air. There is a time and place to say things, and then there are times when you should say as little as possible.

It's wild to me how Trump talking **** on the internet breaks liberals but Democrats;
-killing babies
-letting in narco terrorists
-letting in jihadist terrorist
-routinely committing high treason
-sexualizing children
-weaponizing the justice system
-giving our country away to the third world
-freeing felons and violent criminals
yeah, all of that is perfectly ok!

Karma? So he and his wife deserved to die and had it coming?
He was evil and 'should have focused on his home'? So he and his wife deserved to die and had it coming?
If you're truly not 'happy' the 'evil' of Rob Reiner no longer exists, you're certainly doing a bad job of not showing it.

Trump is rightfully getting roasted on Twitter by CONSERVATIVES.
This is exactly why I supported Ron DeSantis in the primaries.
HORRENDOUS decision by Trump -
he can never just be filled with compassion and grace for an enemy.
It is pathological and frankly does great harm to the conservative movement.

lol give me a break
Give us a viable option.
Trump won the Rep Primary in a landslide 3 separate times. You absolutely cannot blame the Dems for the party's choice of putting that person in charge.
Primary is not the general. You put up candidates with dementia or who are borderline tarded and are communists.
What do you expect us to do?
Way to completely miss the point.
Not at all. My point is anyone on the right, even those that put out mean tweets, are better than anyone on the left.
I have no choice but to not vote Democrat because your side is actively trying to destroy the country.
You're acting like Republicans just said "aw shucks" and voted for Trump because the Democrats suck.
Donald Trump is exactly what Republicans want. We know this because THEY VOTED FOR HIM IN THE PRIMARIES. When they had the choice of other Republicans, the Republican voters overwhelmingly said they wanted Donald Trump.

Nope, he can't. It's the usual ftc strawman.

zomg strawman.
You seem obsessed with these strawman. Perhaps some obsession with The Wizard of Oz?
Dismissing someone's hateful rhetoric and lies just because they died tragically counts as glorification in my book.

This post is a chilling example of how deeply we have strayed from the Lord's teaching on charity and compassion. My heart goes out to the Reiner family for the grief they must be experiencing. Our faith commands us to mourn with those who mourn, not to use the solemn occasion of a passing as a moment for political mockery and self-aggrandizement.
The casual invention and celebration of a "disease" to insult a political opponent is not just poor taste; it is a profound failure of the Christian spirit. When a person is reportedly gone from this world, we are called to pray for their soul and extend grace to their loved ones. We are to speak the truth in love and to remember the words of the Sermon on the Mount: "Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy."
True American greatness, the kind that honors God, is built on humility, kindness, and respect for our neighbors, regardless of their political banner. May the Lord grant rest to Rob and Michele, and may He grant us all the wisdom to remember that every soul is sacred in His eyes.
