Here's something that has been puzzling me.

The PCSO claimed they gathered all the evidence they needed that first day 2/1, so the sheriff released the scene to the family 2/2. Now the PCSO was pretty tight lipped on what they found inside the house, then leaks started around 2/5. Nanos confirmed in a press conference then that they were swabbing everyone that had access to the house, Family, housekeeper, caregiver, landscaper, etc. to compare against evidence they had gathered. On 2/7 or 2/8 it was revealed they had "foreign DNA" the found in the house and it was sent off to a lab. (we found out later it wasn't Quantico).

So the PCSO investigators gathered DNA from inside the house, that wasn't blood, on 2/1 and it was sent off to "their" lab in Florida. What happened to that DNA result? was it EVER handed over to the FBI to be QA/QC's and plugged into CODIS? That was two weeks ago?! Nothing nada zilch about that sample(s).

Since that time they have reportedly found gloves all over the general area, and determined ONE matched the video glove and it wasn't the one on the side of the road that the NY Post 2 miles from the house. It was sent off on 2/12 received 2/13 and the result was then forwarded to the FBI on 2/14. Still waiting on that being plugged into CODIS.

What's the hold up on the first samples from inside the house? Maybe they were contaminated who knows. Okay we know the FBI Crime Scene Investigators showed up 2/4 and they taped off the crime scene the second time after every Tom Dick and Harry had walked all over the property. Surely the FBI was able to gather their own samples from the same source the PCSO got their swatches from right? Or were they being blocked as reported early? Surely the FBI if they had full access could have got their own sample and sent it straight to Quantico and had the result by now and plugged it into CODIS by now!

OR, was Nanos full of crap that they actually found foreign DNA in the house running a bluff to make it look like they were on top of things. Never once have I heard or read where the FBI had anything close to that, of course the FBI is known for not saying anything about an ongoing investigation. But the timelines of the gathering of evidence and whatever doesn't add up to me.

I'm not going to speculate if there is a political motive between the sheriffs office and the lab, but a lot of departments have contracts with labs to perform their analysis. If that private lab gets DNA profile, the results will be digital so they can send it anywhere to be put into databases immediately. DNA in investigations can be a double edged sword at times because you have to hope it is in a database (previous violator) or have a persons DNA profile to compare it to. You also have to eliminate all other DNA profiles that you might find that are legitimate. Also, DNA only proves you touched something, police still have to prove a person did an act. I'm over simplifying this, but unless DNA is found on a body or weapon it just proves you were that at some time and police need to further investigate to prove what happened.

NY Post reported the Door Dash driver was stopped because a family member called in a tip that he looked like the masked man and he was a high percentage match to the facial features apparently. "45% of the commissioned side of the dept. has less than 5yrs. of experience." This excludes CO's and other staff. Average % of AZ departments with less than 5 years on is around 20%.

Of the 96 detectives they have currently in the department "45 are detective 1's." (Rookies).

The senior chief on this case has 2yrs exp. in homicide cases.

He tells us that boots on the ground members of the PCSO is NOT planning to go along with the "anti-ICE regardless of the leadership ideology movement.

Nanos is highly politicized and his animosity between Nanos and the FBI dates back to the 2016 RICO investigation, when Nanos was interim Sheriff, and his ego clouds his judgement.

Does Pima County have elections or selections? That's a problem in Arizona with all the corruption from the highest levels.

Elections, and Nanos won in 2024 by less than 500 votes in an election full of ballot shenanigans and after the election over a 100 deputies walked off.

Generally, she is still missing and the Pima County Police have nothing, flying a helicopter over the desert around Tuscon with a device that can possibly detect bluetooth signal from her pacemaker. Waiting for lab to give them DNA data to proceed.
