I watched the first half hour of The Today Show this morning, figured it was the "best" network to get the most current updates. To my surprise, it was the 3rd story of the morning, behind the NE weather and the Perp Prince.

It will be interesting to see moving forward, if Nancy is not found soon, how they handle that story. I mean, at some point, they will have to decide whether or not to even have an update at all.

What will be even more interesting is, in that scenario, how they handle Savannah coming back (great for ratings), or if she wants to. They've already dragged Koda out of retirement to fill in.

Only real positive thus far in the case is that it's losing the wall to wall coverage, soon the streamers will begin to fade because their montenazation won't offset their expenses and this will end up in the cold case bin. The carrot on the stick is drying up.

Been following this thread but haven't commented yet. I remember seeing earlier that someone suggested they were trying to scare Nancy out of the house, and originally only visited, trying to scare her, and when that didn't work, broke in on a later date. Does the fact the pictures were from separate days support this theory? Otherwise why had nothing been done or known about the original visit by the family??

Same here. When this story broke ICE was the main story on the news from busting up the billion dollar grift by illegal Somalians in Minnesota and deporting illegals all over. The powers that be couldn't have a story break of an illegal kidnapping an elderly woman. I still think it's some idiot linked to a cartel that decided to kidnap her for money on his own thinking he would get a big payday; both are buried in the desert.
