I've read the bible cover to cover twice and don't recall any specific mention of abortion. But hey, if we want to pick and choose bible verses to justify a modern political position, we can have a field day
"This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live." Deuteronomy 30:19
"You shall not murder." Exodus 20:13
"For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be." Psalm 139:13-14
"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations." Jeremiah 1:5
"So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them." Genesis 1:27
"Whoever sheds human blood, by humans shall their blood be shed; for in the image of God has God made mankind." - Genesis 9:6
"There are six things the Lord hates, seven that are detestable to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood." - Proverbs 6:16-17
"Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute." - Proverbs 31-8
"They shed innocent blood, the blood of their sons and daughters, whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan, and the land was desecrated by their blood." - Psalms 106:38
It's not justifying a political position. The Bible speaks very clearly as to the taking of innocent blood. As the author of life, I think God has a pretty good handle on it.
And also a warning -
"Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows." - Galations 6:7
