Did Mazi show any signs of improvement this year? Early in the season he was about as bad as could be, but I thought I heard someone say he was starting to show up at mid season.
I think he definitely got better as the year went on. Still a JAG more or less, but he's fine in rotation imo.
I also think the Cowboys need at least one pro-bowl/all-pro caliber interior d-lineman, like Jeffery Simmons. Whether they get that through a trade or try and draft someone, a serious presence on the interior of the d line is the biggest thing missing from this team.

Pretty sure our best interior guy (Osa) is also in his 4th/last year. It's only going to get more expensive to fix the dumpster fire that is our interior D-line.
It's typical/comical that the Cowboys are either good/great/elite at so many of the key positions where it's the most difficult to find top talent. QB, LT, WR, Edge Rusher, CB. We've got those covered. And yet, we are so bad at some of the less valuable positions that it doesn't matter.

How about our old pal Walter Nolen? Is an All-American this year. ESPN has him 17th on their big board, close to where the Cowboys will be picking. Don't think Mason Graham will fall that far.
Yeah I'd be happy with that pick as well. He got better every in college, and even though I think he has some small attitude issues, I think being in the NFL and making big boy money fixes those issues for the most part. We all know Walter's only goal was to get to the league...well here ya go big Walt.

I agree. These guys really play for him and the defense finally learned the Zimmer defense.
This is gonna be like the Dak discussion. Not everyone is 100% on him but he's solid and won games but not in the playoffs. If you're telling me it's Kellen Moore or Sark then hell no.

Yeah, today's loss could be the difference between drafting 11th vs 15-16th. Several teams at 8-9 that Dallas' SOS would have dropped them below. SB 11 or 12 pending Niners-Cards. Need a niners comeback tho, so looking like 12th
