I never understood the Bijan love. A good RB worthy of a 1st/2nd round pick... but I never considered him a top 10 talent. I liked Gibbs better but neither should have gone until the mid teens.

For my money, Zeke and Barkley are... by far... the best modern RBs I've ever seen coming out of college and the only type of back worthy of a premium top 10 pick.

But to that point... Barkley's best years were spent battling injury and Zeke's prime only lasted 4-ish years.

Yeah, Zeke's prime was def worth his draft position. The problem is that his prime was really short.

He carried us for a few years behind the a freakishly good offensive line.

Derrick Henry went in the 2nd round that year too and he's been an angel his entire time in the NFL and College. No bull****, no suspensions, no training in Cabo, no holdouts.. and he was an animal in college.

I'd also add that what did Barkley ever really do for the Giants. He was hurt some, but even at his best, a good RB doesn't really mean dick anymore to unless you have all the other pieces in place on both sides of the ball

Cooks is washed. He got 2 mystery injections in his knee in NY (assume some sort of anti-inflammatory) over the course of a few weeks and the 2nd one got infected, so needed a procedure to drain and put on antibiotic

He's had some abysmal throws but that escapability and speed is so tough. They've had him contained several times and he just makes the guy miss and has a huge run. The passing numbers aren't all that impressive and they hadn't even thrown it 10 times before the game was basically decided.
