I think the front office really needs to reconsider the direction of this team and franchise. I'd be tanking the rest of the season after getting beat like this TWICE IN SIX GAMES. They need to add way more pieces.

This game felt like the time Ditka and the Bears beat Landry 44-0. This team is awful

I think they are completely incapable of it. It's who Jerry and Stephen are. McClay will do a solid job on the draft and then they'll continue to mismanage the roster from there.

Jones doesn't do rebuilds. He thinks the Cowboys should be in contention every year. We've seen Philly win a Super Bowl, blow it all up and then make it back to the SB in 5 years. Jerry won't do that

If we suck this year. I'm fine with it. I just want to be so bad we get into the top 10 in the draft. Unfortunately we will probably be late teens since they will win too many games in the back half of the schedule.

McCarthy should have never been hired. Dak should not have ever had an extension. But here we are. Nothing is going to change in the front office.

That last part of your post is wrong. They aren't pleased by it at all and want to prove the media and fans wrong for saying it was all Jimmy that gave them their three Super Bowls. The problem is that they aren't going to remove themselves from selecting the team and micromanaging the staff because I of what I mentioned. It's a circular argument. And the Cowboys are just a huge draw and people love to see them lose, so the Jones Family will still make tons of cash with visitors gladly filing into AT&T Stadium. That's what they don't care aboutwhich fans are buying the tickets.
They want credit, not a championship. Very key distinction. Someone that wants a championship would set pride and everything else aside to pursue it. They are unwilling to do so because a championship isn't really their main goal. The financial success of the franchise placates them while they pursue that credit. But they are determined to do it their way, because otherwise a championship that comes without the credit is useless to them
