I've missed most of this tournament, but I'm hoping to see the USA Jamaica match. I watched about 7 minutes of highlights from the Costa Rica Jamaica match, and it looked like Jamaica were the better team. They had many great chances, but just couldn't finish.

So, is anybody worried that Jamaica might prove to be too tough a test for our guys? It is soccer, anything can happen, but I think this looks like a really even match. I wouldn't be surprised whoever wins.

Yes.
And El Salvador looked really solid against Mexixo.
This US team is still sorting itself out.

From what I saw, it looked like CR was the much weaker side. In 7 minutes of highlights, it was all jamaica's near misses and the one CR goal, which only happened because the Jamaica right back made an aggressive mistake that CR capitalized on.

From what I saw, Jamaica looks like the tougher opponent. We'll see.

CRC and HON are down relative to recent years. I think HON has several injuries as well. JAM might be the toughest test out there besides MEX and CAN. US already got by CAN once; I think they should be able to get by JAM but it won't be easy.

Qatar actually looked very technically and tactically proficient in possession every time I've caught parts of their matches so far, and had more athleticism / pace than I would have expected from them.

Yeah, Qatar is looking good.

South Africa didn't make it out of their group in 2010.
