He is going to be a high priced turnover machine

I'd rather Pay Manu 14mm over the next two years than Jeremy Lin 20mm over the next two years or Steve Nash 19mm over the next two years or Tayshaun Prince 15mm over the next two years or Gerald Wallce 31mm over the next 3 years or Joe Johnson 70mm over the next 3 years or Carlos Boozer 32mm over the next 2 years or Tyrus Thomas 18mm over the next two years.

I think Manu deserved closer to 2y8m, but 2y14 isn't ridiculously terrible.

Lin gets paid over 5mm this year and slightly under 15mm next year. He gets just over 20mm.

Sorry, you are wrong. He counts as over 8mm as a cap hit, but the Rockets back loaded his contract to keep the Knicks from matching. THe way they back loaded it, they get to average his salaries over the three years of the contract, but they still pay it out as 5.x, 5.x 15.x. Same with Asik.
So it only counts as 8mm on the cap next year, but the Rockets will be paying him $15mm.

$7 mil a year is fine. Makes a heck of a lot more sense than the Tiago Splitter deal.
