Losing to Memphis moves the spurs back out of the 10 spot. What a painful missed layup by Keldon
I was at the game behind the bench and they were fuming about the missed foul calls
You didn't see him get absolutely clobbered on the layup attempt I guess?2008and1 said:Obi Wan Ginobili said:2008and1 said:

Pop was pretty pissed most of the game. That said, hard to blame the fouls on the blown layup at the end.
He got hit in the arm, chest, and head. He should be, and rightfully is, pissed.Ag Natural said:
He was technically fouled on that layup attempt. Still should have made it. Even so, Memphis would have had a few seconds left to answer.
San Antonio Spurs icon Manu Ginobili will be a first-ballot induction into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame @Hoophall Class of 2022, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium.

With the Cavaliers loss tonight, the Spurs have officially “clinched” the Celtics 2022 first round pick. In addition, Toronto’s magic number to convey their 2022 first round pick to the Spurs is down to 4. #PorVida

Raptors pick officially conveyed to Spurs. Great trade by Wright. Move up at least 10 spots in the draft for a player that wasn't playing.
With Toronto’s win & Cleveland’s loss, the @spurs have officially clinched the Raptors 1st round pick & will have three first round picks heading into the 2022 NBA Draft this June.

Yes! Beating a good team on the road without Dejounte when the games still count was great. The Nuggets tried to come back but the Spurs survived the run and finished strong.Pendragon12 said:
Absolutely fantastic game from the team last night. From both ends.
At the trade deadline the Spurs dumped two veterans for first-round picks and they’ve had to sit their only All-Star during the most important stretch of their schedule, and the mortgage-the-whole-future-to-win-now Los Angeles Lakers simply cannot keep up with them.

I also think getting Josh Richardson in the Derrick trade was huge. We got their first and really didn't miss a beat because Josh came in and has been a spark off the bench.Enzo The Baker said:

Never forget when Tim Duncan was given a DNP for being “old”… 10 years ago

Poeltl has been very good this season. Hes already been a nice defensive anchor. This year he became a lot more active on offense. Im really excited about him. I think he'll be a Spur for a long time.

Josh is ultimate sixth man who isn't afraid to mix him up. Would much rather pay him than Lonnie going forward.

Agree with this. He's been a pleasant surprise. Hope they find a way to keep him
