It's nearly impossible to be a consistent team without a PG. We don't have anything close to resembling one. There isn't one untouchable player on the roster. They should have traded Durant before the deadline

They didn't even need to trade Durant or do anything that drastic. Lots of solid options were available for 2nd round picks. Just feels like punting on a 3y window of Durant in year 1.

you probably don't get Durant if you want a normal season, as his teams are usually championship or bust at least lately.

Agreed about the fast forward. The two contributing vets we have are all out the rest of the season. The third (Jeff) is great in the locker room, I'm sure. And the one we brought in fills a million basketball needs, but he's very much an elder millennial in that he is chronically online with no filter.
Going to be a bizarre second half of the season for sure, but need the other guys back on the floor ASAP. Winning cures all.

You can see KD working himself off the team by summer time

They need to trade thompson asap. While his value is ok. He is Ben Simmons but without the shot. A good player would have shown up in this spot. Our front office is a bunch of mongaloids.

I don't blame Durant nor do I blame DFS...I blame Ime.
We were flying at the end of the third and he went to a small ball line up of Durant, Tari, Bari, DFS, and Amen. As a unit, they were extremely limited. No real playmakers and very little organized offense besides Durant wrestling in high post.
DFS was hot garbage, but the issue was that Ime gave him an insanely long leash. Conversely, I thought we got a great performance from Reed today and Ime couldn't wait to pull him.

Reed has to play more, whether he's ready or not. We have ZERO chance of winning tight playoff games late with ZERO ball handlers
It's just unfortunate that we already know how this season is going to end, and it's not going to be anywhere close to the Finals. We have a head coach always putting blame on the players masking it as "accountability" when he is actually a terrible in-game decision maker who seems to put emotions over intellect. And of course no clutch presence against teams good enough to hound KD since no one else can ball handle/make a clutch shot. And don't even get me started on DFS
