He's at 36.6% so far this season, which is the best of his career by a smidgeon. He's playing more minutes (by a few) at 34.5 and scoring more points per game (by a few) at 15.2. He's up in assists and a little down in rebounds.

The Rockets so far have pretty much got a little bit better Jabari than what they were paying him for when they signed him to his big extension last season.

Agreed. And this sort of depicts my point. He just hasn't had any real improvement offensively 4 years in. His usage is way too high and we let him take way too many shots for how poor of a shooter he is. Already 3/9 tonight and 0/3 from deep, all completely wide open

Bari is 38% on catch and shoots and 41% on wide open threes. He rebounds great, defends really well, and is good in transition. On offense though, his usage should be way down and focused more on screening and going to his left corner. Overall, he is a really solid archetype to have with Sengun. Can guard 2-4 and is quick for help defense.

I like him. He was rewarded by the team with the extension because he's a + on the boards and D, can hit from 3, and doesn't demand his shot. He's not unlike Trevor Ariza or PJ Tucker.

Another terrible night though.

Reed Shepherd was a poor pick

The offensive numbers don't look awful although part of that may be that they're going to try to make it work. He has a green light with orders to shoot and KD draws the double team when with the 2nd unit.

He's going to get minutes and looks as the No. 3 overall pick until he proves it can't work, which will at least take until next year since we've exercised the option. It's rough watching teams relentlessly hunt him on D though. The slip,, dribble/slam, and smirk by a scrub was symbolic.

Do you think the Spurs would take Reed for Castle if we threw in rights to any Bryce Drew or Matt Maloney descendants and a 2nd or two Soup?

Another painful road loss to a sub-.500 team. We need Alpy back ASAP. This offense just crumbles late in games if KD isn't on. Having no ball handlers is killer.
