As much as I think Ime is done, who is available out there that is any good? I think I like Will Hardy and Billy Donovan, but what have they done? Is it strictly their rosters, or are they flawed coaches? Spoelstra continually does more with less, but he's a Miami lifer. I'm just not educated enough to even know what's available out there that could be an upgrade…unless it's just anybody that can form any kind of offensive gameplan.

Someone who can actually draw up a play to get us into something that looks like an offense would be a good start.

The Nugs firing him 79 games into the season back in 2025 was truly bizarre.

I don't watch a whole lot of NBA basketball because it is so boring, but I watched the 4th quarter and OT last night.

Durant has always been a meaningless stat guy. One of the worst clutch players of all time.

Well, it has got worse. Durant is absolutely horrible at this stage of his career. He gets his points during the parts of the game when nobody cares, and once the other team locks it down, he is beyond worthless. He hurts his team so much.

Still better than Jalen Green though.

Green over Mobley and Scottie Barnes? Bari over Jalen Duren?


And yes, I realized that jabari was a consensus top three. Duren was a lottery pick, it's not like some no body in the 2nd round like Joker.

Trade for Sengun and get BPA for the four top four picks and the lineup is:

Hindsight is 20/20 though. At the time of the draft, Green was consensus #2 by everyone in the league.and like you said, Jabari was consensus top 3 as well. I don't necessarily fault those picks when they were universally thought by everyone to be the correct picks. However, the Sheppard pick was horrible then and now. Castle was the best college player in the draft and was gifted to us at 3 by Atlanta and Washington taking 2 weak foreign players and we still passed on him. That's fireable right there.

I think the Bari pick was understandable and some thought he was #1 overall as I recall.

I think Reed is understandable from a need perspective because Castle as a non shooting POA defender is duplicative of Amen. But Reed was small and isn't mobile. I wonder if a trade down to 6 would have been there. Charlotte desperately wanted Castle to handle POA next to Ball and Miller.

Clingan at 6 plus a future pick seems like a good deal. ClingKong leads the league in offensive rebounds, is a great rim protector and hot 34% of his threes this year. I get why Houston took Reed and I liked it from a standpoint of Reed and Amen have strength in the others weakness so maybe the pair well. Just didn't with out.
