100% agree. It's always fun to single out the individual efforts, but today it was up and down the lineup. Lizanne too - critical doubles win and stretched out that first set.
Lex and Daria turning it around.

On the importance of every match…
"Every match is important. Oklahoma is one of the best teams in the country. They had us on the ropes just a few weeks ago at the national indoors, so to come out today with a 6-1 win without arguably the best player in the country, Mary Stoiana not playing because she was out with an illness I'm just proud of the girls. These SEC matches are just battles, no matter what team you're playing, you have to be ready to bring it."
On Lexington's growth…
"I'm proud of Lexington today. She probably hasn't played in these conditions all that much, so it was a bit of a learning experience for her out there and she made some great adjustments after the first set. Lexington is growing every day. If she was playing that match five or six weeks ago she probably doesn't turn that match around. So to turn it around the way she did and run away with it in the second and third set, you can see she's really growing mentally and physically out there on the tennis court."
Should move our team Ranking to #3 ( and Georgia back to #1).
Did anyone catch Boyer's match? After a really competitive first set, she couldn't get going. I didn't catch it.
Also / what's going on with Florida? Georgia wins 4-0 but Florida only fielded 2 doubles teams and 5 singles lines.

Only 3 players from the National Championship match played In these wins over tu and OU. I'm starting to think this team is really good.
One of the great learning experiences in sports is taking advantages of the opportunities thrown your way. With Mary out the last two matches the team has definitely done that. And it's great to be battle tested early in the year and to get the Ws

Losing three this year to graduation but have Jennifer coming in. If she can progress like Lex it will be great. You guys know waaaay more than I do on this but I am assuming Mark will grab a really good transfer. If he can find one who will commit, enroll and actually play for us AND make an immediate impact it will be awesome. Will just have to wait and see. Until then, BTHO SEC.

I watched Ava play yesterday for Auburn. She was the deciding match; great ball striker, but she has one gear - hit deep and hard. Will be interesting to see her play Nicole.
The worst part of a Monday is its still four days until the next match.
And that it is vs Auburn at their place. Jordan and Ava really add to it !! The next three matches after it will also be away matches. Vanderbilt will be fun. Nice test for us !!Anchorhold said:
