The numbers are tough even with Robo at $12.5M.
Stars currently have 10 forwards signed at a total of $87.56M.
5 defenseman at $28.46 M. Goalies at $9.25M
Total obligation is $87.56M.
Let's say the following signings happen:
Robo - $12.5M
Benn - $1.0M plus bonus
Mav - $2.0M
Nils - $1.5M
Petro - $775k
That brings you to $105M and you're over the $104M cap.
These numbers are assuming that Benn's potential $2.0M bonus will go on this year's numbers using Seguin's LTIR.

Completely agree. You'd probably be under the cap by maybe a few thousand dollars by the time you get to game 1. That's how close it would be.

Worked fine on my phone tonight, but whenever I tried to cast to my TV it was very l****. Ended up just casting audio to speakers and having the game open on my phone. Fortunately, midway through second it was comfortable enough to just background noise

Hey, a big right handed defenseman! Also seems like Nil is good at getting other teams to pay the partial salary of guys we trade for.
He fits the Nill type: experienced veteran. And he's a big body to help with the physicality Gulutzan wants to see. He and Bischel give us a lot of size on the blueline. He's also a RHD. But his play has fallen off a cliff this season. I hope that's just because of how bad Vancouver has been this year. If we can get him playing at a level he did the previous couple of seasons, then this is a solid move. At half the salary, not a bad option.

this is a move I like...still have some reserves to add some more and we dont risk hitting the cap when everyone gets back
