The Variety article helped Albert locate Barry and basically link him to the killing of the detective. Knowing this show, his motivation for finding Barry may not be to capture/kill him, he might not even be an FBI agent

I assume comedians write their own material. They seem to understand the human condition. They are writers who can act. I agree that their timing may be both honed and natural, but its more than that.ttaggie said:

It takes more to be a good comedian than it does to be a good drama actor...so for comedians to flip it, its an easier transition to make than drama actors to get comedic timing down...it cannot be taught, its just an ability that some have and some don't. I really enjoyed Barry's counseling session with Hank, especially his downplayed recreation of yelling at Sally "Sally, you gotta help my friend!" Very funny. And then, turns out, Hank actually gave solid advice, surprisingly.
Nice work with that scene with someone not coming out of the closet. Anyone care to translate what Elena had been saying in Spanish?

Yep, the decision to not have music and put the whole scene on the sound editing really paid off.

I feel like it was trying too hard to be quirky. Sadly I've felt that more and more this season.

I've sat in traffic countless times, on that exact same highway, watched those motorcycle assh*les fly by between lanes (it's legal in California), but have never once thought to make an action/chase scene out of that. Just so good and so original.

This was great.
However, I feel like if they'd done a variation of this scene three times it would've been overkill. (Ie. Beignets guy)
Bill Hader said on a Ringer pod that they wanted to give provide some exposition on where every character is at, as is often done towards the middle of the season.
So they thought it sucked to just do it, then they had the idea to have them do this dialogue to the same person throughout the episode. Then they thought of the concept of it being at one of those trendy shops that always pop up, and I thought the guy playing Mitch was hilarious.

Sally Is starting to take a backseat as a supporting character and I'm not mad about it.
The FBI/former marine bud back in to town, Hank and Cristobal, and Fuchs taking down Barry are Better stories that her crap show.
