This is the 2nd time that Chris has made fun of Jada on the #Oscars stage, & tonight he went after her alopecia. Punching down at someone’s auto-immune disease is wrong. Doing so on purpose is cruel. They both need a breather.

Dear God is alopecia, not something that actually kills you. Making fun of alopecia or baldness is on the same thing as making fun of gingers.
Not for a woman. Maybe have just an ounce of empathy here. Yes, she's batsh*t crazy otherwise, but it was still uncalled for. As was Will's response. They're all in the wrong.
Ahhhh I get it now.

2016 Oscars Chris had a lot of jokes for Jada because she was boycotting the Oscar’s on behalf of Will.
Will probably came in tonight waiting for Chris to say something slick… & he did. 😬
Hence the “Keep my wife’s name out your f ***** mouth.”
I dig it. pic.twitter.com/JsM6OCYq2P

Chris Rock also jokes about Jada randomly at 2016 Oscar's. There's probably a messy backstory here and they don't like each other.historical context: the last time Chris Rock hosted the Oscars, in 2016, he said "Jada Pinkett Smith boycotting the Oscars is like me boycotting Rihanna's panties—I wasn't invited!"

I know everyone is talking about the thing but I can’t shake the In Memoriam. Legitimately believed they were about to launch into Boot Scootin Boogie while Peter Bogdanovich was on screen

it’s like the #Oscars producers wished for higher ratings on a Monkey’s Paw

Chris Rock has declined to file a police report against Will Smith over the slap on the #Oscars stage, the LAPD said in a statement https://t.co/sUCF8Wfh95

What a sad commentary when you slap the crap out of someone on live TV, win an Oscar, get a standing ovation and then accept that Oscar talking about “love”. There was so much wrong about this moment. #Oscars2022 pic.twitter.com/D5iVIpqYiQ

that dude going shirtless to the show probably lost it for them....TCTTS said:
Also, how does it win every technical award under the son, but the director - the one person in charge of all those technical aspects - isn't even nominated.
Glad Chris Rock didn't tell a joke about Alec Baldwin's wife.

It's gonna start getting like those super specific sports stats, "first openly woman of color, whose name ends in N to win best supporting actress in an odd numbered year"DallasTeleAg said:
As I said in my post, would have been surprised if he had.
Also, I find it hilarious that when I googled who the winners were, tonight, the first headline i see is about the first openly queer woman of color winning best supporting actress.... ROFL. I mean... when is this kind of **** gonna end? At some point, can't we just be people who earn things?
Exactly. It just starts to become ridiculous.PatAg said:It's gonna start getting like those super specific sports stats, "first openly woman of color, whose name ends in N to win best supporting actress in an odd numbered year"DallasTeleAg said:

We can just be people who earn things when people like you stop calling it out and rolling your eyes at it. Who cares? There are people out there who find value and hope in seeing people like them achieve things like this. And that's perfectly fine. The more normal it becomes, the less there will be a need to draw attention to it.

Because I'm a living human who is a part of society? I believe it is in our nature to react to crazy?TCTTS said:
But why even the "Rofl… what???"
It's not about you, for you, or has anything to do with you. So why do you feel the need to inject an opinion at all?

I saw people saying there was a standing ovation when will won. I didn't see Javier Bardem stand when Will won.

Also, I react far less to Hollywood crazy than you do to anyone who says anything negative about Hollywood.
