"Supernatural" may have been the wrong word. But the ScreenCrush guy mentions a team from the comics that includes Moon Knight, Blade, Ghost Rider, and others, that all have roughly the same, dark, supernatural vibe.

thought this was a fun first episode and I'm in on this.

Only thing I didn't love was the CGI during the car chase down the mountain was absolutely horrible.

Agreed. All the other CGI was really good, with cool creature designs, etc. But man that car chase was bad.

I actually liked that part of it. I think they were going for a bit of a silly vibe with him waking up in pregressively wilder situations and I thought it was kind of fun. It just looked insanely bad.

Yeah, I didn't mind the song choice, as the lyrics are deliberately very fitting.

I'm with that screen crush video posted a page back, I don't think "Stephen" is a real person. "Mark" is the real person. So the mom isn't dead, she doesn't exist and never did. And it's "Mark" sending him the post cards or whatever.

watched episode 1 last night. It was very good. Lots of horror elements.

fast-paced -- did not feel like an "origin" episode.

interesting mysteries developing with Moon Knight's personalities...and Ethan Hawke's character

Yeah, and all they need to say is that this universe has vampires, poof, problem solved. This timeline has mutants, poof, problem solved.

They really set themselves up well to reintegrate their new properties. I wonder if the multiverse stuff was their main idea before that deal was on the table?

Just finished the first episode. Other than the CGI on the car chase, that was really good. Better than any other first episode on the Disney+ MCU shows.

Seems they're simplifying the personalities thing down to two. Steven Grant is a billionaire playboy (sound familiar?) in the comics, with Jake Lockley being the lowly personality. Can't wait for Mr Knight to show up to add more layers to Marc/Steven.

Seriously, don't click the spoiler unless you know Moon Knight's comic history. It's going to be a decent sized spoiler for the show.

This is officially the most random, out there, mainstream superhero property I have ever seen… and I'm absolutely loving it. So damn weird, but so cool and so well done.

That, and did I just hear a Shaggy cameo in the closing credits song? If so, amazing.

Yes the closing credits music was pretty cool. Did sound shaggy-esque but I'm not so sure it wasn't just a more eastern artist with that kind of flair.

2nd Episode was legit! Throughly enjoying the performance by Oscar Isaac and his portrayals of these identities. I'm completely sympathizing with the weight of his plight.

I love, too, how they continue to suggestion in film some level of whether this is real or just a result of his medical condition. Obviously we know where it is going but the story telling is great!

Very wild show so far.

Also, I'm told there is. QR code in frame at one point that actually links to a background e-comic for this character. Kinda cool Easter egg!
