It's been a noble effort overall, to try something so weird and zany, and I've liked a lot of it, but I've basically become less and less interested with each episode, to the point where this latest episode did absolutely nothing for me. I'm just not a huge fan of big flashbacks or flashback episodes to when the hero was a kid or wherever, where we learn late in the game what makes them tick or all about the tragedy defined them. Feels like it kills all momentum.
Honestly, at this point, I'm glad there's only one episode left. Depending how this whole thing shakes out, I can't imagine ever wanting to see or being excited for Moon Knight showing up in the MCU again. In fact, I feel a bit like the Jeff Goldblum meme right now, asking, "Now, eventually, you do plan to have Moon Knight in your Moon Knight show, right?" Because five episodes in and we've hardly even seen him.
