IMO, that's assault on a LEO but I'll hold my breath that she gets prosecuted or even dealt with on the House floor.

You were one of those brave libs crying for us to bring back that wife beating, human trafficking, ms-13 gang member weren't you?

Just be honest and say you're fine having criminals in this country.

I actually do hold out hope it will happen, and see more chatter about it online now (from accounts/people that are not simply random trolls).

Democrats are always prattling on about "the rule of law," but they seemingly make no bones about flouting it whenever it suits their needs. This was yet another silly, pathetic, theatrical performative display by House Democrats as they flail for relevance.

Bring it, DOJ. It's long past time to bring down the hammer of justice for these violent agitators.
Heck, even very fake news CNBC is noting the admin looking to prosecutions. All we need now is Cramer declaring that it won't happen to seal the deal.

She should have been cuffed and detained for assaulting federal officers.

She's just lucky there was another sister there to diffuse the situation.

Anything they demand to do is not "oversight." That's not true at all.

Oversight has proper procedures or due process, it is not rushing the gate with a mob of protesters. They can call a hearing or even check in at the front door and follow the correct process for oversight.

Sorry you failed High School Civics.

Congress isn't their boss. Executive branch is.

Hmmm, and who isn't part of that branch? These morons.

Oops.

But, yes, if President Trump just showed up, he would not be subject to those rules. You're right.

That's not law.

24-hour advance notice just allows people to hide stuff. Nobody should take the requirement of advance notice seriously unless you are a partisan hack that doesn't care about people's constitutional rights and the constitutional duty of congress to provide oversight.

Oh please. That facility is not Auschwitz.

It holds hardened criminals under high security. You don't just allow people to walk in because they want to.

ICE detainment is considered civil detention, meaning it's not meant to be a punishment for a crime but rather to ensure individuals' presence for immigration proceedings or removal from the United States.

Reread what he wrote. The key word there is "holds". It's a HOLDING facility for dangerous people here illegally.

They weren't arrested for being morons who can't follow rules for a secure location.

They were arrested for assault of federal officers. That IS law. That law is the same at this place holding illegal alien criminals as it is outside of my home. They can't assault federal officers. End of sentence.

Not a complicated issue.

Proof? I bet you don't have any evidence but the false testimony from ICE. Supposedly, there is video evidence. Where is it?

Video was posted earlier in the thread.

Putting hands on federal agents, especially when you're not supposed to be there in the first place, is a no-no.

Other than the morons who can't follow basic rules statements? We have video evidence of the morons putting hands on federal agents. Where's your actual evidence? And, statements from blithering idiots isn't evidence here vs video evidence. Also, ICE had the law on their side. They're there not only to secure the illegals, but to protect them, as well.

Dumbasses just showing up is problematic.

Because most of them were already arrested for committing crimes, many of them violent.

Why are you going so hard on defending these people? For some insane reason, your side has decided to that standing with rapists, murderers, drug dealers/runners, and gang members is the way to go.

I saw ICE agent manhandling a public representative, not the other way around.

Public reps can visit an ICE facility at any time -- they are not beholden to an 'advance notice' requirement. Surprise is the point.

Again, the standards/procedures to visit for oversight are published Publicly. This didn't change since "Biden" left office.

There's no evidence the violent representatives/mayor followed proper procedure at all. In fact, if they'd scheduled it appropriately, they'd have published communications/emails to that effect by now.

Shhhh. Let them keep championing drug dealing, human trafficking, wife-beating, little girl raping, murderous gang bangers. The optics are OUTSTANDING!!! If anything they need go harder defending them.
