BREAKING: Multiple Democrat members of Congress—and the Democrat Mayor of Newark—have been arrested for criminal trespassing at the ICE facility in Newark, New Jersey.

Sure looks like an insurrection.
Maybe even assault on a federal officer.pic.twitter.com/JeVBPfgti0

A lot of you owe rgvag an apology, though I doubt you will. These charges will be dropped faster than Elon's baby mamas.
This appears to be a video from the day of the arrest, showing a guard clearly letting him in without incident. Pretty much demolishes the claims that he stormed his way in. They let him in then arrested him for trespassing. Good luck getting a conviction if the jury sees this.bobbranco said:This happened today?esteban said:

Did this happen today? After the fact photo op?
Who is truthful?
I have always said young people learned that lying was okay under Bill Clinton, he created a stare you in the face. White collar lie to benefit himself and save his fortune.
Why did this black lady go off when she disagrees? Couldn't she go back and make some phone calls? No, and her kind of crap is teaching youngsters there is no crime in violence and if you are violent, just whine.
Tyler PD was called out to stealing at a store, one surrendered, other woman ran and was caught and began fighting with police. She got policeman's gun and a round was fired. Cop then cold cocked her. Now NAACP is involved saying she told police she was pregnant. Lol, looking to stir pot. If she was pregnant, why did she struggle and why did she have meth pile in her pocket?
Liberals, you teach no responsibility. Why y'all all think it is cool that kid in Frisch who killed , is deserving to graduate!
in the video Mayor Baraka posted he is shown being escorted in to the facility calmly. There is no crowd and a few members of the media. Are you claiming this was staged today? Is there evidence of that?
Which video shows him assaulting someone?Troy91 said:
Pretty bizarre to think that an 8 second clip out of context negates a different clip that shows assault and an arrest.
Guessing that someone has the footage with time stamps in order of events. The mayor of Newark is misleading everyone with that clip. Good for those of you who think he is telling the complete truth.
You can hear the crowd of people behind the camera in the video. If this is how he entered the gate, and they arrested him after he exited, that pretty much destroys the narrative you're clinging to. When the charges are dismissed, I'll be back to say I told you so.Urban Ag said:in the video Mayor Baraka posted he is shown being escorted in to the facility calmly. In the second (above), widely seen video, he is once again outside the facility at the same entry point, resisting ICE officers. There is a crowd of protesters, many more ICE officers, and a whole bunch of media.
So earlier in the day he was allowed in without incident. Yet later in the day, he's back outside the gate when the dems reps got there, the protestors, and much more media, and things got out of control. Right?
This makes it look even worse for the mayor and the dem reps. If Baraka was allowed access to tour the facility then later attempted to enter after the angry mob showed up and many more cameras, that just proves they weren't there over concerns for the illegals. They were there to cause trouble, provoke ICE, and twist the story.
ICE isn't opening the gate for anyone except ICE and prisoner movement with a mob of protestors at the gate. This was staged.
They will get dismissed because he's a Demorat.esteban said:You can hear the crowd of people behind the camera in the video. FWIW, we're talking about the Executive, not the Judicial branch. The Judicial branch is the branch that most people here have been complaining about for restraining the Executive branch. How again did the executive branch detain this man in a correctional facility for months pending deportation proceedings without any judicial branch involvement?Quote:
A Michigan father and green card holder spent nearly two months detained in correctional facilities on deportation proceedings, after getting stopped by border patrol over a previous misdemeanor charge.
LOL. I mean, it is sad that our immigration judges are so over-worked, I agree. This is part of the reason many of us objected to flying in hundreds of thousands per year etc. on 'temporary parole' or 'catch and release.' Actions have consequences, and sometimes "Michigan Man" or "Maryland Man" pay the price.
Oh, another point of hilarity in your research fail. He was pulled over and detained before Trump was even President again. So, his whole ordeal was entirely on Peepaw, really. Never, ever vote for a democrat.Quote:

An Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent pulled him aside at the Detroit Metro Airport and asked him about a 2018 charge for using marijuana.
Thank you, James Clapper would refer to this as the "kill shot".nortex97 said:I didn't say article II vs. III. The shortage of immigration judges is deliberate. Quote:
For several days, activists, progressive lawmakers, and the mayor made spectacles of themselves outside that facility. Baraka "vowed to return each day until city officials were allowed inside to reinspect the facility," the New York Times reported on May 6. "We want them to follow our rules, follow our laws," he said after city officials targeted the detention facility's private owners with citations for building-code violations. But protesting the facility was not enough. Baraka vowed that he would gain access to the premises so he could scan for additional threats to health and fire safety. "They're keeping us out through the gates and the fences and all this other kind of stuff," Baraka insisted. "But we're going to come down here every day, and we're going to get in one way or the other."
And get in he did. On May 9, Baraka and three Democratic members of Congress gained access to the premises, but the mayor was not allowed to go where his colleagues could go. "Congressmen are different, congresswomen are different," one Homeland Security Investigations agent told the mayor in an exchange captured on video. The arguments continued until Baraka's compatriots returned. Administration officials insist that Baraka ignored warnings to remove himself from the facility's property or face trespassing charges. Baraka and his supporters claim that the mayor had already vacated the facility when he was set upon by federal agents. A scuffle ensued as law enforcement attempted to impose the consequences on Baraka that they had warned him he would face if he failed to heed their demands. Baraka was handcuffed and taken away to a DHS field office.
…
The episode is a perfect illustration of a particular sort of activist agitation. What begins with maximalist bravado, self-righteousness, and messianic self-confidence dissolves into the language of grievance and victimhood the very second that the premeditated provocations produce their intended results.
