REALITY: Court records show only about 1% of the people held are accused of offenses that may be violent in nature.

RESPONSE: But they're illegal.

They gotta go back. If you want to sponsor a third world leach back in their homeland do it on your on dime.
So let's say you extend that to the illegal population as a whole which is probably hilariously low, then you gave imported 100,000s of criminals likely with multiple victims. Why?!?!?

I think check the post you originally responded to before you blame someone for moving the goalposts..

STATEMENT: The facility (Delaney Hall) houses 75% felons.. yada yada. The post is there. You can also read the DHS release stating basically the same thing.

RESPONSE: Well actually this other place says that only 1.19% of detainees have committed other crimes.. yada yada.

Your fallacy is connecting an -overall- rate (we won't discuss whether it's correct or not here) with THIS FACILITY. Apples. Oranges. When you show up to a secure location somewhere housing dangerous people, you follow the rules. Period.

A cursory reading to me of the policy DHS posted says that Congress members -do- get to show up unannounced. But if they're in a group (aka Mayor and random underlings) you have to give 24hrs notice. "ICE will not accommodate special access for mixed groups". Maybe they should have gone in alone under those rules? But, regardless, when the guy with the gun/stick/reflective aviator glasses says no, you do NOT get physical with them. You preach to the cameras (like they wanted to do), you pull out the cliche "don't you know who I am?!" or you get that guy fired for his mistake.

Anything else is FAFO.

Why does it matter? Are you trying to say that we can't deport non-violent illegals? I couldn't care less if they are violent or non-violent. They are here ILLEGALLY. That seems to be something you libs just can't seem to grasp. Deport them all. I don't care if liberals screech about it or whether it bothers them. Get the illegals out of our country.

The overall rate is the only reliable data point we have.

STATEMENT: From ICE, without supporting documentation, and they have lied before...yada yada.

RESPONSE: From official court documents.

Your fallacy is an appeal to authority.

Something else to note in this case, there is the claim by the mayor that the private facility is not adhering to city code and will not allow city inspectors on the property. The mayor had been visiting the site for the past few days, prior to his arrest for trespassing.

Still doesn't change the fact that they are illegals and you support them.
Every illegal needs to be kicked out of the country.
There's a reason no one takes you seriously. Your asinine takes are laughable.

Accepting that the vast majority of the people detained are not violent and dangerous is progress. Next step is to realize that many are 'legal' green card holders. Then maybe move on to how they have a right to habeas corpus and due process.

Prove it they are "green card holders", you can't you just listen to MSM and take it as fact. You can't, while most people understand that some are not violent, why can't your side acknowledge that they committed a crime to enter our Country and thus face deportation.

It's really not that hard unless, like you, you're blind to reality.

As stated above you should stop.

And those cards can be revoked at any time.

Then maybe move on to how they have a right to habeas corpus and due process.

If they're here illegally, the process they are due is deportation.

And that wouldn't mtter if it's a federal building and if it was federally contracted there would be minor limits.
