If you watch this video, the terrorist in the white pants leaves the bridge at the 34 second mark. He returns to the bridge at the 3:40 mark. While I praise the heroism and bravery of the citizen to take the terrorist weapon., he should've shot him immediately. The terrorist was allowed to go back to the bridge and resume firing. This is why you incapacitate a target when you have a chance. Luckily, he was disposed of shortly thereafter.

The Bondi shooters' choice of location, use of cover and concealment as well as hand signals indicates a level of training.

What a total cluster ****. 10+ min (6in this vid but eyewitness says lasted 20 min) and only one man doing as we are called to do. He doesn't shoot the haji he disarmed and he rejoins the other haji on the bridge picks up the other shotgun and goes back to shooting again. At some point it looks like a female officer pics up and runs right to left with another long gun.

Then the muslim attending to his brethren isn't detained but the pissed off white guy is arrested and beat. Unbelievable.

It paints a much clearer picture of the shooters and how they were stopped.

After the shooters were stopped, the actions of bystanders were pretty crazy. There's a lot in there.

The old boys who come up and want to start throwing punches, the "Lad" who signals for help, the white lady with her hands over her mouth in shock, NSW Police trying to keep people back from the scene.

I suspect there are too many communities in this country that would react similarly.

There has been several key CT experts in this country advocating for local law enforcement in combination with the civilian community train for these types of events.

Between Sarah Adams and Joe Kent estimating between 10-20,000 terrorist types in this country now….minus the two taken in custody in the last 2 weeks.

Just sickening to me to watch these play out for so long without men stepping up to do the right thing. The lack of physical and moral courage is appalling.

I mean look at Australia's gun policies and statistics since 1996's Port Arthur incident and tell me it hasn't been effective for them.

Certainly not a one size fits all sort of solution but the reason last night's attack shook up so many around Australia is that this type of thing just doesn't happen that often here.
