The phrasing "we understand" from last night's video is odd.
I cat put my finger on exactly why… why include that?
You "understand" what? That the amount is $6 million? Where it's going?

This is unnecessary and creepy. Paparazzi were awful in the first place when they were following Britney and Kanye, and now we have it at crime scenes?
Pretty disgusting, but obviously, they wouldn't be doing it if there was not a market for it.

I think it's odd to have included that phrase without including what it is that is "understood". To include it without noting what is understood makes it seem like a code of sorts.
Or maybe I just watch too much true crime.
But it seems that these messages would be heavily crafted and vetted by the FBI before going out. That phrase means something. **I think**
Fact that they keep going to the sister's house is most telling to me. I feel like they found something over there and that's what "really" happened, and there's some bad actor across the border or overseas that's just taking advantage of grief.

#2 after someone dumping a live person
My suspicion is they are looking for flushed evidence, not a body.

I don't think that's a septic tank.

That seems to be an overkill cover for a septic tank. Usually plastic and fairly cheap. Plus that's pretty damn big.

Latest on the Nancy Guthrie investigation — including my talk with a recently retired Pima County homicide detective who has eye opening insight into the case and issues at the sheriff’s office.https://t.co/6ldNUuKeQU

The play-by-play is kinda wearing me out. Of course I could avoid the thread or news, but it does draw you in somewhat.
I hope none of the actions of the "journalists" with drones and iPhones crawling all over the scene, do anything to jeopardize the investigation or prosecution. I promise you the defense attorneys will eventually scour everything for a technicality or error by LEO. Why don't they lock down the air space or street or something?

Honestly the Pima County S.O. has botched up the protocol concerning evidence and the preservation and likely the handling of evidence, the mere preservation of the crime scene, releasing the victim's property four different times allowing every Tom Dick and Harry to wander threw it was amazingly inept. There was no reason for the rush, no one else lived there, a complete rookie move. Defense attorney will have a field day.
