I'm not going to get in the fine details right now, but a former coworker (American) for an Ag company was carjacked this week by the Cartel outside PV. They had him and his assistant get their bags out of their car. One of the men slid a backpack under the car and then the whole thing went up in flames. They had to walk back to town. One of their passports was destroyed in the fire.

I know the Embassy is working to help them, but they currently are sheltering in place.

There are hundreds of Americans in PV right now working for the major Ag companies. This is because most of the seed production during the winter is done there.
