My old boss just got his call to pick up his cans for two paper form 4's filed December 16th 2021
How long does it usually take from approval to when the dealer receives the stamp? I called today and it was approved 8/29 but the dealer has not received the stamp yet.
Mine was approved 8/26 and I got the call 9/6 for pickup.

Form 4 paper approved at 403 days!
ATF is by far the most atrocious waste of money ever. I'm at 330 days so far since check was cashed.

Just got the e-mail my E-Form 4 was approved. 201 days since submission.
Got a call from my FFL it was ready only 19 minutes after the e-mail from the ATF, so they are very prompt.

That blows...for me. I am at 92 days. When I purchased 91 was the median. Guess it will be Decemberish...maybe.
You certified the day before I did my second can if my math is correct. 6/13, right?

ETA: The above is for eForms. For paper, it shows 9-13 months with a median of 13. Median came down by a month for paper. It was at 14 a few days ago.
It shows 2 days to 6 months now. I believe that the median won't go down until their # of approved per week increases back to what it was… they're only approving 2-2.6k/ week, where the used to do 3.5-4.5k

I had a form 1 in the spring go 60+; then one in June done in 17.
I'd have to look, I think 17 days was my fastest F1 too.

Eta: they're going to approve them while I'm at my nighttime run and gun (the whole reason i got off my butt and bought cans in the first place). Just to spite me.
I'd keep that mentality for Nov as well. 220+ days are starting to roll in on Reddit. I genuinely think my 6:14will be 300+ unless they get through the paper forms soon…. But they're still on 9/21 paper forms, so even that will be a while
Probably a true timeline, luckily this can is just a pistol that I didn't need but wanted! I did just start the wait all over again for a new lightweight rifle can, AB Raptor 8! That one likely won't be in until next October at the earliest!

Took about 13 months exactly.
E form 4. Got email today. 220 days. FTATF.
ha wow. Went from "approval in 90 days or even less!" to taking more time than a paper form. Only a gov agency as sideways ****ed as the ATF could take a digital process and make it less efficient than stacks of paper getting mailed around.
