I saw on fb nfa group someone already got his pistol brace approved. For what it's worth it about a month, another poster said he just got back regularly form 1 in that same 30 days. I am hoping there won't be a great slow down

Where we at on the free form 1's. We decided that was a bad idea because of some shady wording right? Better to just pay for the stamp on an SBR?

Thats what I did. A brace is not a stock. They said so for years. "Amnesty" when we did exactly what they told us to do is stupid.

So I have two pending eform1s from 1/31/23. Paid the stupid bs tax on both. Not playing their amnesty game.

Ok follow up question. Is kiosk the easiest way to fill out a form 1 since my fingerprints are already loaded into that system?? I have 3 guns I may need to form 1

And engraving? That happens after stamp approval or before ?

Depends. Trust, or individual? Trust! Individual I would say probably not, I would be inclined to say yes; you have to basically do everything times n+1, n being the number of people on your trust, and therefore the greater chance of mistake in their error trap.

Basically if you have a trust, you have to do the form 1 application for the trust. Then you fill out a 5320.23 for each responsible person on the trust, upload trust paperwork, ….

Damn, I'm gonna have to get an SBS stamp for my Shockwave while they've got this pace going. Once more word gets out to the stupid people that think this free brace tax stamp is a good thing, things will start picking up.

I had been planning the SBR's and thought I had waited a week too long when the whole pistol brace thing came up. Really glad it didn't seem to affect the timeline. Now I just have to buckle down for the wait on the form 4 suppressor submitted the same day.

Mine took about 7 or so months with my 22 can. April to November of last year.

I've been thinking about sbs for my shockwave. Have you found a stock that you like for it? I haven't. There's a magpul but it's a little too tacticool for me

I've had a brace on it, but it just doesn't jive for me in the shoulder. Looking at possible a Mossberg Speedfeed stock. Holds four extra shells in the stock. It'll look something like this:
