Ouch. I do worry that I didn't get every thing filed properly and would I be told if that was missing something. Things like this worry me for sure. God luck!!

Mine was 3/23 and 11/23....HTF did mine go 2+ months sooner?

Only thing I could think of is that the atf brace rule stuff happened about the same time and it may have got pushed to the bottom of the pile. It was frustrating as hell waiting these last couple of months

Yes, mine has been at the dealer since September. Nobody bothered to let me know so didn't cerify until the end of November. Silencerco doesn't notify you and your dealer might not either. I'd call and make sure they dig for it. I got an Omega 300 and registered about nine days after the BOGO started.

Took over 600 days to get the one I got from the 2021 BOGO. 2023 BOGO can shipped much faster.

Here is what the ATF said ~

Thank you for the inquiry. Here is the information that I was able to find for Shalackin:

1. eForm- was received on 01-31-2023. As of 11-15-2023, the application is PENDING with ATF because it is in a DELAYED status with the FBI's National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS).

DELAYED status with FBI/NICS could mean that there's an issue in the applicant's record, or something that needs to be corrected or clarified. ATF cannot complete the transfer without a definitive PROCEED from FBI/NICS.

I will use the release form you sent me to inquire to the FBI on your background checks and let you know what I find out.

Did your stuff ever end up getting approved? I reached out to my rep about my Form 1 from 6/26, and they essentially received the same reply. Don't know why it would be delayed at FBI.

I did a BOGO purchase in July. Submitted my paperwork to SiCo for the free can on August 3rd. I'm now on day 181 of waiting for them to ship my can to my dealer so I can THEN start the Form 4 process.



You probably already know this, but I'll share for anyone that might not. You can go here and enter your info, and it will tell you the status of your BOGO can. If it says "In Process", that means they still haven't done chit with your can yet, and it's still going to be a while.

Form 4 submitted last February. Still waiting. Contacted my rep for the fourth time this morning requesting help. Last three tries to get them involved resulted in little to no response, and definitely no help. Without mentioning names, he reps from Lampasas to Midland.

Oh my I feel bad I read it wrong. I though it was same year. Looked again and saw it was 1 year plus wait. Yeah you got hosed. Glad you finally got approved!

No worries. I read it as you were saying my form 4 was slow rolled because I was banging some ATF agents wife.

6/26/23 - Form 1 e-filed Individual with fingerprint cards done myself and mailed to the ATF in West Virginia

1/27/24 - Form 1 approved

Seven months on something that should've taken no more than 2. Here's my story:

Called 3x in November and December to ask WTF since my others took only 3-4 months. Was told each time that there was a backlog due to all the "amnesty" Form 1's from the stupid pistol brace thing. (This was obviously a lie and "the company line" I could tell).

Two weeks ago, I reached out to my representative via their website and included all my case numbers, serial numbers, etc. Received a reply within a day from the intern, and had me sign privacy act waivers, permission forms, etc.

Within two days, I received a reply saying they'd contacted the ATF, and THEY referred them to the FBI due to a NICS check.

Received an email a day after that saying the FBI just "approved" the NICS and my Rep was now after the ATF's ass to chew once again.

Received an email at 0200 the other morning with my approved tax stamp - 7 months. They would've sat on it longer.
