Does anybody remember how much precipitation we got here in CS during the ice storm in '21? When so many had roof leaks from ice dams forming on the roof. I have a new roof now but my confidence level is low.
I don't remember the exact amount but that is the very reason I have always put ice and water underlayment in valleys on every roof I install. It cost about $200-400 more per roof to install but it is cheap insurance.
Cheap roofers skip this step and sometimes it can come back to haunt the homeowner.
I did see snow inside of attics from the wind blowing it through ridge vents on metal roofs then.

They were out of celery. CELERY.
I'm going to try again today to get some fresh veggies, our freezers are always full of meat so we can survive a month or so with no proteins in the store but veggies are a different story.

Looks like the forecast has changed quite a bit overnight. Not near as much ice expected in the Brazos valley now. Might just be cold and wet.

I want to see that study correlating ice storms with exploding diarrhea.
