I needed a couple items this morning. Costco was fully stocked but had limits on certain items. Kroger wasn't busy at all but I only needed 2 items from there and was out in less than five minutes.

Yep. I was on the last flight into CS last night. Thankfully they cleared us to fly despite the fog here.
Went and had a late lunch at Gringo's. Steady crowd coming and going. Wait staff said they are closing at 4 pm today.

Goulash and minestrone already made and ready. Friend gifted me a duck today, that gets roasted tomorrow if power stays on. Hope everyone stays safe, warm and well fed.

I don't expect too many restaurants to close early tonight. Roads look to be fine until the early morning hours .. unless you go by KBTX forecast which ALWAYS predicts doom and gloom and they seem to always post colder temps than what the actual temp is.
Caso do Brasil and Frida's have closed early.

Went to West Bryan Wal Mart about an hour ago. Was well stocked except for potatoes and chicken/beef broth. 2/3 things I went to get.

I know the 11-4ish window tonight is still expected to be bad, but if the Aggie Dome holds up against a system impacting literally over half the country… I'll never doubt it again.
This is one of the rare times I'm actually rooting for the dome

dome has failed bryan. still holding strong in CS....
Looks like about 500 homes off Rio Grande & 2818 are without power. Not sure if weather related.
Update: Looks like a vehicle took out a power line pole.
