Not much at Richardson coit and Campbell area. Barely rained hard for a few minutes. Probably leave the sprinklers off, more rain expected this week and I don't want the downfall of society to be on me.

We got a ton of rain in SW Fort Worth but nothing bad. I haven't turned on the sprinklers in 2 weeks, which is nice.

Still not seeing what you are seeing tbh. This is moving a lot slower than I thought it would be this morning. Though to be fair, I am concentrating on Dallas mostly.


At the time the line was moving at 45mph and looked to be out of the Metro by six. It slowed down to around 25 in the last hour. Also built back to the northwest some.

Both ft worth and dallas have storms with confirmed golf ball size hail in them right now so still ongoing.


Aye. They were slowing down even before that though I think. Whatever though, not trying to dick measure I promise. I was just genuinely confused and trying to line it up so I wouldn't die on the road and you were saying something conflicting (and concerning as I would have plowed right into the middle of it if it stayed on that timeline) with what I was seeing at that time.

They also ended up tracking more south than I originally thought. Tippity top of Dallas is going to be spared it seems.


Hey all good. It's all a bit of art mixed with science mixed with swags.

Just going off my phone and radar scope. Will be interesting to look back at it tomorrow and figure out why everything took that massive dive south when everything had the storms going east southeast. Whatever it was saved the metroplex from an expensive hailer.

To be fair to the weather people. It did look pretty serious early on and seems to have done damage to the west again.

Always happy to avoid it at my house.

Just saw a live stream chasers south of Cleburne drive right into a tornado and a tree flew across the road and maybe hit the front of their vehicle....they just kept driving.

Looks like Mineral Wells had a tornado go right through town. Lots of damage and the sheriffs office had declared a mass casualty event and requested assistance from neighboring agencies

How far south of Cleburne? I have my RV parked just south of Rio Vista and would love for that thing to get taken out so I can get a different one.

That Min Wells damage is pretty intense, old industrial area near Ft Wolters. You can see the Parker Hannifin sign in the background.

I mean a hand grenade or bomb that doesn't go off is also called a dud but don't think most people are upset about it. This storm was a dud in the sense that it didn't materialize like expected, but that doesn't mean people were upset we didn't get a tornado or massive hail. Just a figure of speech.
