I cannot believe I'm typing this but Phil Jones has really played well at CB. His play, and Bailly and Matic in front of them, has allowed both Valencia and Blind to really bomb forward on the wings.

The problem with jones has been how brittle he is. Now that he is getting a good run of play he is getting more comfortable. It helps that he had Bailly besides him. Hopefully he can stay healthy for a bit.

He got beat a few times bc he isn't the quickest guy in the world, but he made up for it by his intelligence and being a smart player. We all know he's a strong player and won't get bullied, but he's looked damn good so far. With his injury history and the fact that he's been with United for so long I forgot he's still only 25
....and Phil Jones has an ankle injury....doesn't sound serious...hopefully he just sits for the WC qualifiers...
Damn it people, have you not learned by now that you don't talk about Phil Jones? It doesn't take much to jinx him. A casual thought while you pee to add him to your fantasy team is enough to do it and you guys are out here posting about how well he's playing? SMH.

It's almost like I didn't believe it and came here to see if there was any truth to it...

Geoff Cameron has now made one more good defensive play in 2 minutes than he did in both USMNT games last week.
