That's the 3rd time this season that United took a relatively close game and blew the doors wide open in the last 5-10 minutes. Everton didn't play horribly and really couldn't have been ahead but this United team is clearly better than last year. How much better, remains to be seen. Southampton away won't be easy but we won't really know how good this team is until Liverpool in mid-October.
I feel for Everton. Their league play has opened @Chelsea, @City, Stoke, Tottenham, @United. That's brutal. Basically what looks to be the top 4 and Stoke which is playing well. Then mix in the Europa play in home and away and then the opening EL group match.
For a B team thats pretty solid. There is a lot of depth on the squad.

Watching on ESPN app....I was fairly entertained by them just showing the stadium at halftime rather than going to a studio analyst...now I almost wish that was the standard.....

Chelsea finally agree a fee to ship Diego Costa back to Athletico Madrid. Does this reignite the Griezmann to United rumors? I could see a scenario where next summer United make an approach but I don't think it happens.
Reports were that Griezmann's release clause remained unchanged at 100M with his new contract. If he was set on staying, I would think that would have risen. That said, after this past summer there will probably be quite a few teams willing to pay it, so hopefully United is still his preferred destination. I would assume Barca and PSG would definitely be in for him. I can't see him leaving Atleti for Real. The usual PL suspects would probably spend that on him as well, and probably a couple Serie A clubs.
Anyone else pissed that the Southampton match is not on TV? You have to pay for their new Gold package online. What a cash-grab by NBC. Used to air every PL match for free.
There will be at least 2 more pay per views. Every team is on it at least 3 times.

Yeah, it sucks but I think we were probably spoiled last year. I can't think of any league that allows you to watch any game for free just for having a cable subscription. Even MLS doesn't do it. And it's a lot harder to watch EPL games in the UK than it is here, believe you me.

If you have regular NBCSN, download the app and watch Premier League Goal Rush. They are showing predominately the United game, and it doesn't require any additional subscriptions.

That goal was prime Lukaku, just bullying people and finishing. Also, who would have thought a couple years ago that United's first choice starting fullbacks would be Valencia and Young? Young did well setting up Lukaku's goal.
No problem. This is actually quite nice, we get to watch all of the United game and get updates when anything happens in the other games. Anyone know how they pick what the feature game is for Goal Rush?

I saw about 10 seconds of the game and still managed to nearly have a heart attack. 3 points...I'll take it.

I would love for us to keep him from leaving for Madrid. De Gea is Top 3 in the world, IMHO.

Joking aside, he is one player I really hope to see realize his full potential. I remember how well he played at Southampton but we have not seen that same player (understandably mostly resulting from injuries) since he joined United.
Final thought is that looks like we will be lacking a few key players in the upcoming match against CSKA with Fellaini set to be out....
