That's is just brutal play between Shaw and Maguire.
I cannot express how bad this midfield is. Because they contribute nothing in a build up it's forcing a very slow play out of the back hoping to skip a line. And then when we settle in offensively it's so compacted Liveroool is just playing 11 men inside the penalty area.
4 players within 3 yards of the ball at the top and no one marking Salah wide. That's a genius defensive strategy.
The only positive that can come from this is Ole being fired with immediate effect

All I can think is that Shaw is so worried about covering for Maguire that he's forgetting or ignoring the fact that he's a LB. Both of those goals were from him getting sucked in to cover the center space.

Welp, the first 4 minutes were good. As a neutral I wanted a decent match
I still don't think that the Glazers dump Ole. But with the run of games we have coming up and the unlikelihood of continuing to pull out the random lucky result, it's almost a certainty we'll be out of the CL and mid table in the EPL by end of November. If so, I think it could happen then. Until then. Dead team walking.

Would love to see Zidane as manager. Doubt he'd stay for more than a couple years but I think he'd get some results while we had him.
