I'm trying to imagine a formation with Pogba, Bruno, Mason, Rashford, Sancho and CR7. In my mind it looks 1-3-2 and it should score a gagillion goals.

Ole hinted at more VdB involvement against Young Boys tomorrow. Good time to rotate a bit given that West Ham away on Sunday won't be easy and we need to utilize that depth. I'd like to see Cavani get a start if he is fit. Stick Sancho on the right where be belongs. Push Pogba back on the left and pair VdB with Fred in the middle.

It's a terrible result and it was a terrible performance. AWB getting sent off is no excuse for how poorly they played afterwards and Ole's decisions after the sending off were so poor. Moving to 3 CBs for the 2nd half while keeping both Bruno and CR7 in the game was absurdly stupid and virtually gifted the entire midfield to YB.

Ole says he enjoys the pressure of coaching at Man United. Well, he's certainly going to feel it. His decisions are going to come other a lot more scrutiny because, even though they desperately need better center mids you can't add Sancho, Varane, and CR7 to a team that finished 2nd in the league and made a UEL Cup Final and say that the team isn't good enough to compete. If they throw up performances like that, it's going to fall on his head not on the lack of talent at his disposal.

Let's see how it goes. One result in September won't define a season. But this is Ole's make or break season, IMO.
