The league should have mandated vaccination and weekly testing at the beginning of the season. Also, we shouldn't have said anything about the results of the tests... I didn't see any of the other teams who postponed matches in Dec or Jan follow up with further information. Sucks because we've actually been really forthcoming about the need to get the shots and take other precautions.

If the league wants to pursue transparency, they know what they need to do (require vaccines and/or testing and collect those results themselves). However, they don't really want that heat and would rather each team handle it all in-house. So this is what you get.

How could you not love him? Beyond all the great goals he scored, selling him vaulted us to the title while simultaneously sinking Barca. At the time, they were consistently poaching our talent. Now they will certainly think very very very carefully before every taking another LFC player. Love Coutinho, the Barca boogieman.

I don't blame them at all, this is the new norm for the league. No one will utter a peep about their testing results - we've all seen how that serves no positive purpose.

I don't really like it either. We only have one or two covid cases. Its more on the grounds that due to injuries (apparently we have 3-4 "injured" from yesterday) and AFCON, we can't field 13 senior players and the EPL have left that door open for postponement. It would be a huge benefit to the club to see a critical match get postponed till we have a full squad so I see why we're asking for it.

I really hope this whole postponement thing is gone after this year.

Felt great for Ox today. Also, I really like Brentford. Well coached but clearly just outmatched today.

Feels weird to say in January that we can't afford to drop a single point the rest of the way. Hopefully we can beat city when we play them and just keep rolling. Damn I was hoping Chelsea would at least tie them yesterday.

Good win, much needed boost after a couple slow showings. Jota was snake-bit today! Hit the post then hit the keeper in the face a few minutes later. Had several great chances denied or blocked away.

Excellent result. I thought CuJo was really good, especially in the second half when the attack was lacking a bit of energy. You can see the lack of pace from the wingers when Mane and Salah are both missing. They are going to have to make contract decisions on both soon. There are a lot of rumors linking Jarrod Bowen to Liverpool this summer. He's a good player, but I'm not sure he has the kind of pace that we've grown accustomed to from the wings.

I'm really kind of surprised that MO hasn't gotten done at this point. Yes he's asking for a ton of money but he's the best player in the world and as Carra pointed out the other day they got him for what, 40MM?
