With all the games we have, we need to rest some players. I think the real losers with his signing will be Bobby and Taki.

I could see Bobby leaving this summer since his contract is up in 2023. Taki needs to leave this summer too, for his own career aspirations.

I tend to agree with the Firmino comment. Not sure he leaves now or runs out his contract, but it's hard to see us giving him a long-term extension. He's my favorite player, love the guy, but football is ruthless man.

I'd think Taki will be allowed to leave if the price is right. He's got no future here.

Watching yesterday it was so cool to see that basically everyone is fit! Finally! It comes at the right time too.

I think Origi is the only one left and even he's back in training. Nice situation to be in while still in 4 comps.

I think Bobby has a future as a super sub. He is the type of player that you can throw on the field and completely change the way your team plays. His ability to link the forwards and midfield together is a special trait that I think will age well. He doesn't rely on his top end speed to produce. His quick feet and mind will allow him to be effective into his mid-30s.


Never sell Bobby.

I wonder what Bobby's role in the clubhouse is. He's one of the longest tenured guys on the team but I know very little about him off the pitch. I frankly just associate him with his portrayal in the Klopponuts video. Aloof guy who barely speaks English.

I understand folks not wanting to let Bobby go but we're gonna have to get younger periodically. We just signed Diaz and Jota is a younger dude. Hendo is 31, Bobby/VVD/Thiago/Matip are 30, Mane and Salah are 29...We need some younger players coming in to eventually take their places.

I'd be fine with Taki OR Origi staying but one of them needs to go at a decent price so we can spend on youth. If we can't come to terms with Salah...he has to get sold for top dollar to do the same thing. Coutinho leaving was a punch to the gut at the time but that's what funded Alisson and VVD. This is just where Liverpool is as a club. They can spend a lot of money but nothing compared to our competition here in the EPL.

It doesn't all have to be done right now but we need to be making moves every year for the next few to make sure our roster doesn't get too old.

I think that first half has a lot more to do with Klopp's game plan vs the player performance. We held more guys back on offense in the 2nd half and it was a game changer.

Also, give kudos to Burnley. They went after it in the 1st half and should've been up 2-1

Agree with that. Fullbacks seemed to stay back more in the second half and the back line let far less through. Thiago coming on also stabilized possession. Would really like to see more of the Keita-Thiago-Fabinho midfield while they are all healthy.

As a neutral, I'll say that y'all deserved a win, but the result probably flatters LFC a bit too much. This could've easily been a 5-4 win… and probably should've been a 3-2 one.

Yeah, Inter was more dangerous than I thought they'd be. They came to play and really blunted our attack for much of the match.

I was driving and notifications were stuck on 1-0 Norwich for well past the end of the game then updated to show all three goals in rapid succession.

In the grand scheme of life, they pretty much were that quick.

Fun win today! It's nice to have a mini heart attack on occasion. I knew we'd pull it out once #27 came off the bench.
