I'm surprised we aren't giving up on playing out of the back, at least temporarily, and just linking up with the forwards more. Damn I haven't seen us play nervous like this in a loooong time.

I'm not "happy" with a draw but it sure beats the alternative. I think we still have the momentum.

I was sure when the team walked out the MO was gonna bang in a goal or two. Just had the look.

I'll echo my happiness with the result. Beating City on their ground isn't done too often. What's sad is that we had a poor 1st half. If we didn't we might have gotten a result.

I'm not sure why it always seems like City have an easy schedule for the last part of the season, but they certainly have the advantage there. Three of the next four matches are Man U, Everton, and Spurs. Meanwhile, the highest table team Man City plays for the rest of the season is West Ham.

It'll be interesting to see how Klopp manages minutes this week. CL match Wednesday but it's not proven to be an enormously challenging tie. Then FA semis vs City again Saturday - do both teams run out the same tier of lineup or do they play more depth guys knowing the league is there for whichever team doesn't slip up the next two months?

Wow, I'm still exhausted from the match yesterday. That was intense. Yeah, you gotta believe that we'll see rotation for Benfica and then a stronger (maybe not exact same lineup) against City. Good time for Salah to get a rest on Wednesday. Good thing is CL gets 5 subs and we can manage minutes easier.

I finished just looking at the world cup results, Kevin Keegan in 78 (when he was with Hamburger) is the only BdO winner to not qualify for that summer's Cup. Cr7 in '14 is the only other one to not reach the knock out stages. Too lazy to look at what they did in their leagues to justify it.
