Whew. I'm thinking with the PL basically out of reach at this point Klopp starts to rotate/rest guys for UCL final. After the FA cup at least.

I'm curious who will get the defensive anchor position without fabinho in the FA cup. I'm assuming we go Naby - Hendo - Thiago, with Hendo playing the deepest.

I know he has done it before and is capable, but it doesn't make me feel any better.

I think James Pearce already said it would be Hendo in the deeper, holding role. Not our best defensive set up, but a bit more attacking. CBs will need to be on point against a Chelsea counter.

That's exactly what I'd do. I like our midfield with Naby and Thiago in the middle, and Hendo has been played deep before and does it well.

I think our defense has a drop off but the flip side is that we have 3 guys in midfield that can distribute the ball. Fabinho's passing is the only downside to having him on the field, which his defensive attributes clearly outweigh that.

Sucks he isn't available but I'm looking forward to seeing how our midfield does
